[It's been a few days since the kids left and Faith was tired before, but now? Oh, now she's flat out worn out. She's laying on a bench in the lobby of the castle. Not quite making it out of the castle that morning, just opting to nap there.

Waking up she's not even sure what time it is, but she grabs her journal.]

Shit... kids just take a helluva lot out of you.



((ooc: this is the seriously delayed second-half of Faith's recent temporary loss. She's now sapped of all of her strength (slayer and what she usually has) and eventually it will all go to Buffy for a week.))

[Of course, Fenris spends a lot of his time in the lobby. It's where the castle deposits him when it thinks he isn't being sociable enough, after all.

He pauses, seeing Faith just flopped out on the bench]

I was not aware they were that tiring.

[She doesn't feel so hot. She just lets her cheek press to the cool wooden planks of the bench.]

Nah... I'm good, just need to get up.

[He folds his arms, watching her]

Perhaps it would be an idea to go to the clinic. You do not look well.

[She sits up, but gets a bit dizzy.]

I'm fine. I just needed to rest.

I do not believe you. I have seen fitter people in Anders' clinic.

[msattentionspan]

No, you don't get it. I don't get sick. This is just... I don't know, but I'll be fine.

[wolfuncaged]

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it appears that you do get sick.

[Stubborn as Hell, she stands up rising to her feet and tries to stare him down. Good thing he's shorter than her, because she's leaning that direction anyway.]

I'll be fine. Maybe I need some juice.

[He raises his arms anyway, largely in case he needs to catch her]

Or a healing tonic.

[Sam wanders by and frowns when he sees her]

You look like you could use some sleep.

You are batting a thousand, Sam. Hitting all the same questions like a broken record. [and this wall is her new BFF]

Maybe we should get you to the clinic.

I should get you a prize for hitting all the same questions. [aaaand she's leaning on you.]

[Glancing on over since we all know he hangs around this area.] Do you need some water?

Nah. I'm alright. I'm gonna go get a burger. [She goes to push up, but it takes her a bit.]

[Steve frowns.] Do you want company?

Sure, Steve. [She's even gonna lean on him as she walks, because .... the room just got all sideways on her.]

[valuedstrength]

[Steve is doing his best to be sturdy for her. It really helps to be made of muscle right about now.]

Great. I could go for one too. [Hesitantly:] Do you think you might have caught something?

[She shakes her head, trying to push off of him a bit - in an attempt to do this on her own.]

Nah, I don't get sick. This is nothing.

[valuedstrength]

[He's not all that convinced, but Steve won't stop her.] Alright. [Now give him a minute to think of a smooth subject change.]

... What kind of burger do you want?
