[ The first thing that comes across the journal is just some idle scribbling, in a red pen if you wished to know. And then it stops, just for a moment before Hello? is written in the journal. And when that, along with her scribbles, remains in the journal? Surprise is the least of what Christina feels. And then, after another pause, she speaks ]

I was beginning to think I'd be cut off forever.

[ Every time she's tried to write in the journal or speak in to it it hasn't picked up anything, and she hasn't been able to leave her room, either ]

You can actually hear this?

[ But what is waiting for an answer ]

I wouldn't have thought until now that being stuck alone for so long would be so terrible, but it's surprising how that can change when it happens. Not sure how glad I am to have missed the excitement after that.

[ Some of it, yes, although to just read and listen to everything happening and be unable to do anything or be there? Wow, that's not fun ]

So... did anything happened that didn't get recorded?

You're speaking into the journal, of course we can hear you. Did no one explain to you how this works?

Yeah, I've had it explained but it's different when it stops working for a while.

Only on my end. I could hear what all you were saying but I couldn't get anything back into the journal.

A loss by locking me out of the journal? At least it wasn't harmful.
