I'm opening an academy here in a month. Hopefully, it will be something to help everyone here. We're here together and maybe it's not the easiest thing to handle, but we're all fully capable of taking care of ourselves. Why not lend a bit of that real-world experience and knowledge to others.

If you're interested in teaching or are looking to learn something specific - please, let either myself, Tess Mercer, or Lilah Morgan know. I've already spoken to a few of you and I truly believe that this is going to be something beneficial to everyone here.

[With that taken care of, Katherine can be found in the city. Pick a place and she's there.]

[He starts saddling Maximus up as well.]

Well, then, rest assured that you are.

[She just smiles over at him, finishing up cinching the saddle and checking all of the straps. Then she'll untie the horse and lead him out of the stable to mount. She'll shift around on the saddle a bit, making sure it's not going to slip and then wait for Ezio to join her.]

[He takes Maximus out and mounts.]

Where are we headed, dolcezza?

To the orchards. I believe all the trees should be blossoming now. [Or... not.]

That sounds lovely.

I thought it would be a nice change of pace. [She'll turn her horse out and take off for wherever that orchard is.]

[He follows]

Few people would go for such picturesque rides in my time.

I'm glad we're not in your time, then. I'd miss out on this.

We would miss out on a lot of things.

[Katherine has missed out on a lot of things, running for half a century can do that to a person.]

I would hate to be a part of missing out on something here.

[Bam. They reach a clearing and they can put the horses to their paces. Bringing the orchard in the distance to something much closer.]

Then we will appreciate what we have!

[He certainly puts Maximus to his pace, his own eyes moving between Katherine (and her beautiful body) and the orchard ahead, in all its earthly beauty.]

[The ride is easy and she enjoys feeling the wind in her hair, the constant beat of hoofs on the ground. When they arrive at the orchard, she slows her horse, ensuring that he's not far behind her before she leads her horse through the trees and seeks out a nicer spot.]

[He slows alongside her, and then hops out of the saddle before he even slows the horse completely. He's a rebel like that. Maximus skids to a halt shortly after, because he's a well-trained horse.]

Beautiful!

[Such a show-off. Katherine dismounts once the horse slows enough and she moves to tether the horse to a nearby tree. She'll move beside Ezio once that's tended to.]

It's quiet; I think there's actually very few places around here that are quiet like this.

Mm, that is true.

[He doesn't bother tethering his horse.]

[Katherine will walk through the trees, glancing to Ezio every so often.]

You know, I have something to tell you and I am finding myself unable to know where to start. Which, I suppose is an opening in and of itself, but it seems almost hollow considering the weight of what I want to share.

[He nods.]

Bella, if you are comfortable sharing, then I will listen. That is all there is to it.

[She glances to him, a soft smirk on her features.]

You make everything seem so much easier. I'm not sure if you even realize it, but you have a definite calming effect on me. [She stops wandering and turns to return to his side.]

I know that I've told you about certain things I can do, about how long I've been around -- you've never questioned it or doubted that it was true. You haven't even asked how it's possible, but I want to tell you the truth now. How all that I've told you is possible. [She goes quickly, faster than the eye can see to stand behind him. Her hand resting to his shoulder.]

Because I trust you with the truth.

[It's unnerving how fast she can move. He turns, just slightly, to look at her.]

And that truth is...?

[She smirks at him, circling around to face him once more.]

That I haven't been human for over five hundred years. Are you familiar with vampires, Ezio?

[Pause.]

I have no idea what that is.

It means that I died once, but I was reborn with a slightly different physiology. I consume blood, to keep my body the same as it was before. I have teeth that are sharper, they aren't always evident, but when I allow them to descend -- they allow me to pierce skin when I need to.

[He's not sure if she's joking, but she sounds pretty serious. He chuckles, anyway, lighthearted:]

I hope you do not intend to suck my blood.

Ezio, if I was going to bite you it would definitely not be for your blood. I haven't taken from anyone here in the castle since I arrived. Before I showed up, it seems others from my world had been making a sport of feeding.

I felt it was important to distance myself from that behavior.

So there are others that would, then. "Vampires."
