[It is late in the evening, and Edgeworth is returning to his room from spending countless hours at the Clinic. Upon opening his room door, something is a little...off, to say the least. He writes to the fellow residents of the castle:]

Then perhaps you would make better use of the older journal than I would. Needless to say, I would advise you to seek out those here longest before turning to the older tomes. I know of at least one, but there are others to that have been here upwards of five long years.
