[And in the middle of the night, there's a loud gasping breath of air as a body moves from a bed.]

Nick-- [A breath. Wasn't she just sitting in a chair? With a gun? Just how long was she out?

A pause. A long pause.

And soon there would be the cocking of a gun, footsteps moving across her floor, and a door opening. Minutes would pass before Kalinda finds herself sitting on her bed, glaring down at the open journal at her side.

In an annoyed, tired, and subtly frustrated tone masked in neutrality, she'll continue the accidental dictation with full intention.]


And here I thought I was home.

The issue that poses though, is what do we give those who want to stay? There's no telling if we find a way out that it'll send us all back.

I think it's a little crazy to want to stay here, even if they don't have much to return to. We've been taken to places like Paris before, why not there?
