Alright, we have 28 missing people, whose nameplates are mirrored, on top of another handful of missing individuals such as the Eleventh Doctor. [She takes a breath.] I'd like to arrange a temporary task force, in teams, to start searching the Castle Grounds in grids. Those who have volunteered as floor captains in the case of emergencies would be a good place to start. Those interested should meet me in my quarters, Ira Tower 2112.

[Confidently and with a sense of finality,] We'll find them.

Come up to my room, I could use the help moving things around. [With a no-nonsense tone. She really wants to keep him in sight with all of these disappearances but she's gonna be just a bit busy.]

It's got to be something the castle's done, right? There have never been this many people sent home at once.

[He'll be up there in a minute.]

Have you seen it do this before? [It's an honest question, not meant to scare him. Also sounds of moving furniture in the background.]

No. No, I haven't. I don't know what the hell is going on.

[Knock knock.]

[Carolina's over at the door quickly to let him in. Her main living room is currently in the midst of being moved around. The table is magically a little longer and wider with a higher number of chairs around it than usual. As of now, the couch is gone, having been wished away for the time being to make her quarters more suitable for a large meeting.]

No one does, looks like.

[York nods when he sees what she's doing, bypassing his usual hitting on her as a greeting.]

What do you need me to do?

The table needs to move toward the center, I've got this end. [And heads toward one side of the table, actually not noticing the lack of flirting. She wants to be set up and her mind is already buzzing with what little information they have on the situation.]

[He nods wordlessly and helps her move the table.]

We gotta get him back, Carolina.

[youfallback]

[Carolina lifts her end easily and hefts it over toward the center of the room. Here, there'll be enough room to get enough chairs around the table to actually have people talk to each other.]

We will. [Her voice is firm, strong, not touched by any sort of doubt.]

[York starts moving in the chairs she already has, keeping quiet as he does.]

It's not like when we all fell asleep. [Referring to the whole princess thing.] We had warning for that--our bodies were still here.

[The argument is pretty weak, but York's obviously pretty upset.]

[Carolina nods, pausing to just look over at him for a few moments. After fixing one chair, she crosses the room to his position.]

Hey. [She doesn't reach for his hand or offer any physical consolation, just in case someone gets up here super quickly.] We're going to find them. Alive and whole.

[He looks away, as if he doesn't want to meet her eyes even though they're both wearing visors.]

You really think it'll let us?

[youfallback]

[Carolina pretty much hates his glance away and shoots a look toward the door before reaching up for the side of his helmet with one of her gauntleted hands.]

We'll find a way. Castle or no Castle.

[York lets out a sigh, though he knows just as well as anyone that giving up before they've even tried is one sure way to fail.]

All right.

[youfallback]

Superman is listening for any sign of them in the powered zone. Someone suggested using the mirrors or trying magic, we have allies with experience in magic. It's only a matter of time before we find him.

And meanwhile there's nothing the rest of us can do, is there?

[God, he hates being "normal" in a group of people with magic or superpowers or whatever.]

Not yet. [Carolina frowns underneath her visor, releasing the front of his helmet.] As soon as we can, you know I'll tell you.

[He lets out a long sigh.]

All right. And just--yeah. Don't let it get you, whatever it is.

[Carolina nods, despite the fact that if whatever it was wanted to yoink her, she could be pretty powerless to stop it. After all, it'd grabbed 28 people out from under their noses, including the highly-trained Agent Washington.]
