[Another day in Paradisa. One decorated in lights of all sorts-- lights and lanterns gracing each building in a warming array of colors and brightness. It seems to be something rather festive, a delightful change in the scenery of the castle.

In the courtyard, two bright lights can be seen stretching high into the sky, shining even in spite of the broad daylight.

What could be under these lights, one may wonder, as they catch the eye of any onlooker... in which there seems to be two figures beneath them.

Now, do you find interest in them, the increased number of fireworks within one's reach, or the feast that seesm to begin to pique within the lavishly decorated dining room?

And what is with these red envelopes?]

Is this normal for your world? Are there others like you? Are there rats as well, or only mice? Is magic common among your race?

[She blinks at the onslaught of questions, but then laughs about it.]

Yes, this is normal for my world. Cats, dogs, rats, cows, horses, ducks, we have all kinds! But not everyone can use magic, that must be taught to those who have the strength and will for it.

And are there races that are ... not animals? Humans or elves?

We do have animals that aren't like us... It might sound a little strange, but we have both dogs that can stand up and talk and think like a person, and dogs that walk on four legs and can't talk. It applies to all animals on our world.

As for humans... we've only seen less than a handful in our lifetime, because we don't have any. We've only had them visit our world.

Ah -- you are able to traverse through worlds? Do you have portals?

[her_mouse_jesty]

My husband and our few human friends used 'Gummi Ships', vehicles capable of traveling to other worlds. But I never have, it was my duty to stay behind and watch over the kingdom.

Ships ... so your worlds are merely on different points in an ocean? [what is a space ship]

[her_mouse_jesty]

That's one way of putting it... you could say space is one big ocean!

[Squint ...] Space. The space between worlds?

Hmmm. [She doesn't quite understand, but ... whatever. She doesn't want to seem stupid in front of a talking mouse!]

A-huh. His name is Mickey Mouse.

Oftentimes we find our allies out of necessity rather than desire, but yes. I think your sentiment can be correct.

Is your husband a mage as well?

He can also do magic, but neither of us can really be called mages. But we do have one... his name is Donald Duck, and he uses far more magic. My magic is fairly simple, and I haven't used it that often.

There are many different forms of magic, of course. What is yours like?

Mine is mostly for protection... temporarily stopping enemies, and sealing up rooms. But even that can be broken.
