LUNAR FESTIVAL | DAY ONE | ELDERS & FEAST

[Another day in Paradisa. One decorated in lights of all sorts-- lights and lanterns gracing each building in a warming array of colors and brightness. It seems to be something rather festive, a delightful change in the scenery of the castle.

In the courtyard, two bright lights can be seen stretching high into the sky, shining even in spite of the broad daylight.

What could be under these lights, one may wonder, as they catch the eye of any onlooker... in which there seems to be two figures beneath them.

Now, do you find interest in them, the increased number of fireworks within one's reach, or the feast that seesm to begin to pique within the lavishly decorated dining room?

And what is with these red envelopes?]

It's a little funny, I think, how a few years ago I thought I'd be going to college, getting a real job, having time to do whatever I felt like doing, having a relatively normal life... and now when I have a chance to do that - minus the college bit - I don't know what to do besides what I've been doing for the last few years.

[He picks up something that looks pretty tasty, studying it.]

Ironic, huh? Capes aren't really needed here, nor the whole secret identity stuff... and the city definitely isn't Gotham. You can be lazy, Tim.

[That makes him think for a moment.] So does anyone here still try to keep who they really are a secret...?

[He takes a bit, pauses, then hums a little.] It is pretty good food.

I haven't seen Dick running around announcing anything to the world at large, but there's a lot less at risk here. Baddies from Gotham could probably figure it out given the sheer lack of people here and the oh-so-convenient journals and whatever they might pick up, if they tried. I've told a few friends, people I feel comfortable with, but otherwise... if it comes up, it comes up. [A smile, and shrug.]

Might as well enjoy it while you can, right?

[That doesn't make him feel more at ease about identities but what can you do.]

Might as well. I'm still contemplating deluding myself that this is all just some strange dream.
