Scroll twenty two

[There is a rustle of blankets and a half-snore-half-snort sound over the journals as one (1) baby dragon wakes up from his week-long sleep. The last thing he remembered was being at home, falling, and then he was going to...

He pauses, looking around. Okay. This isn't Equestria. This is Paradisa. And he's definitely not falling to his 'death' right now.

Oh, but then he remembers what happened here, what he did. He is in so much TROUBLE. He grabs his journal, not even noticing right away that it's almost empty
]

Oh man, I am so sorry for what happened, guys. I didn't hurt anypony, did I? I'll do anything to make it up to you. And I'll fix anything I broke. And uh...I'll find all the stuff I took and I'll give it back, I swear.

I'm really, really, really sorry.

But Spike, said the frog, going for tact and sensitivity...

HOW CAN YOU NOT KNOW YOU'RE GOING TO TURN INTO A GIANT DRAGON WITH A REALLY BAD TEMPER AND STICKY FINGERS?!
flailingfelt: (gee I dunno...)

[and that would be Kermit putting his flipper in his mouth right about now]

Oh.

I'm sorry, Spike, I -- I didn't know.

It usually is, yeah. ... So ... do you not even know who your parents are?
flailingfelt: (pleasant conversations)

Gee, sounds like you found your family after all, then, doesn't it?
flailingfelt: (another postcard with chimpanzees)

That's really great, Spike. I'm glad you think so. ... It kinda reminds me of my friends, back at the theatre. None of us are related - well, except for my nephew, Robin - but we're all like one big family, too. Even though so many of us are so different from one another.

Well, yeah. If everyone were all the same, it'd be really boring. And nobody would be able to tell each other apart.

It's one of the things I like the most about being here, so far. Everyone's so different.
