Yesterday communication from the missing residents cut off abruptly.

Today the sign in the journal is far darker. Literally.

A dark stain appears in the upper corner of one of the pages and it’s ever so slowly spreading in a very unnatural fashion. Then tendrils of ink to move and twist across the page before your eyes as if it were actually a part of the page itself rather than a mar on its surface.

It’s not long before a message appears nearby:

Time is running out

There's a lot of capable people with them, people who will keep the group safe. They wouldn't let anyone get harmed.
