[filtered to Delirium]
I think I got it! [he sounds so excited] I think I've finally tweaked it just right.
[and then, remembering who he's talking to and her confusion last time, he makes sure to elaborate]
The serum, I mean. The crazy-juice that you wanted--the formula is finally complete. I just... kind of need to test it.
...And that's a small problem. I could test it on some random resident, but... that would risk giving them all forewarning, y'know? And it should be harmless. So, I guess... that only leaves one option...

[and so, Billy does the only intelligent thing, and uses himself as a guinea pig. After a couple minutes of general rustling background noises--]
I think it's... [nngh, an uncertain noise] ...working?
[then there's a weird sort of pause, and the sound of him bumping clumsily into the journal] No, this... uh-oh.
I, uh. [oh, and there's an odd-sounding giggle] Ha, something's not right.
[and then he laughs again. Giggling to himself, then chuckling, like the hilarity of the situation is slowly dawning on him]
Haa ha, yeah! Something is really--[gghk snickering into his hands]--something is, heheehee--really wrong!
[oh god, now he's really starting to crack up, the chuckling breaking into full-bodied laughter... and finally, rolling all the way up into a real, from-the-core evil laugh.
And it's going to continue like that for a little while, even though he really has absolutely nothing to be laughing about. The journal is finally relieved of the sound when he gets up and helplessly giggles himself out into the hallway, slowly making his way toward the clinic]

[Because that would be the best way to test it, ever. And she'd not hovering beside you like she's always been there or anything. Totally not.
She has no idea what you're talking about.]
Del
