[Today? Elliot it is in the library. She's mostly trying to educate herself more about the different species here. She figures if she's going to be treating patients of all kinds in the clinics, the more information, the better.

So, here's a question for other doctory and medical sort of people here. Or anyone who can answer, I guess. Is there any good sources for the different species here? It's still a lot to wrap my head around, the idea of everyone not being human and all that, but it seems to be the case. And I'm a doctor. And I can't assume everyone works the way humans do, you know? And what if someone comes into the clinic really sick or injured or something?

I'd want to be able to help them. But right now? I'm not sure I could.

I know there was that meeting a few days ago in town with a lecture on certain vampires and all that which was really, really informative even if it all sounds like something out of that movie JD always talked about wanting to write. But it led me to think that information like that? Would be really helpful, and I imagine I'm not the only one who thinks so.

If you want, I'm in the library right now and could definitely use any help anyone would be willing to give.

I heard about the elves, met one even which was really strange at first but so is just about everything here, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Ponies, like regular horses? I moonlighted at a vet's office once but I'm not sure I could treat horses....

If they're conscious enough to talk when they come in, they might be able to tell you how to help. A lot of times people live with humans but aren't human themselves know how their bodies work.

I guess if they're aliens or from a world where everyone's the same ... like humans on Earth ... then you're kind of out of luck, though.

I'm an elf, one of many in this place. I cannot entirely speak for the others, save for another more vile one from my world, but I suppose I could give you a basic rundown.

I would appreciate what you could tell me, at the very least. I know we have another elf working here in the clinic, but it's possible she doesn't know the details of how every variation works. And what if she's not working at the time?

Well, from what I can see here, things don't work too differently. However, we've much longer lifespans than most humans and age differently. I can't speak for the others, but my body is quite unused to more modern human medication and reacts oddly to it.

Otherwise, our bodies were not that much different from the humans or dwarves or demons. We're just more agile. A good bandaging will do.
