Why does this castle torment those who it takes from their homes?

[both_neither]

I couldn't really tell you that.

[korianders]

[ she sighs ]

Each day this place seems less of a paradise and more of a prison.

[both_neither]

It's probably best not to let the illusion of paradise not let you see it for what it is.

[korianders]

Each day that passes I realize more and more of that.

[both_neither]

How long have you been here?

[korianders]

Maybe another a month or so.

[both_neither]

I'm at about six, myself. I've seen a lot of strange stuff already. But then, nobody actually died until now.

[korianders]

Did anyone pass that you knew well?

[both_neither]

[Shakes his head] No. I never met them. I don't even live in the castle, normally, so I don't know as many people here as some do.

[korianders]

You can live outside of this castle? I did not know that.

[both_neither]

Yep. Not everyone does it, of course. You have to find a place and either wish up the cash to pay for it, or find a job. And there's no wishes or ghosts to help you out. But, that said, it's a lot more peaceful.

Not that is saves you from what happens here all the time. It can pull you back whenever it wants - it's happened to me...three times already, I think - but other that you're free to go where you want.

It sounds much more desirable then living in this castle. It would be likely to calm my nerves of still being in such an unknown location, regardless of my friends that I find myself in their company.

[both_neither]

Well, if you need help finding a place, or want to get out of the castle until you do, you can ask in at the church in town. The McManus brothers will be happy to help you out. They did the same for me and few others already.
