She can't mope about the past forever, and all the new historical information has pinged her inner archaeologist (which, incidentally, is also her outer archaeologist) so brightly that she can't help feeling a little excited. And more like herself again, even if she feels a tiny bit guilty about feeling better. Feels are complicated.

Thus, she has drawn a colorful crayon sign into the journal, and hung up copies of it all over the castle probably right next to Nepeta's flyers:]

Not really. It's the people I miss more than the place. I've always known I wasn't going to be there long. [Whether that's because the planet was doomed, or because rustbloods have such short lifespans anyway...]

Yeah, I understand how that is. If some of my friends came here, this place would be pretty much perfect, to be honest.

[A pause, she has to think for a bit. Eventually Rin leans forward too and smiles in return. She tries not to think of her friends too often, to be honest. It makes her kind of sad.]

Ah, well... Manji would like it here, I bet. He's my bodyguard and he's really a rough-and-tumble guy, but he wouldn't have to fight, and I think he could get by without it... I bet you he'd just fish all day, and not even live in the castle. He still wouldn't bathe that much and would gripe about not being able to keep up his swordwork without opponents, but maybe I could get him to go in the dead zone too.

Hyakurin would like it too I bet. She'd just laze around drinking all the time... she was here once, for a little while, a long time ago. I think she'd also like to just relax. I dunno if she's much for studying but I bet she'd journey to the dead zone with us.

Doa would hate it. She was here for longer than anyone else and she's really someone who lives to fight... [Trails off. She went through a lot with dat qurl, it makes her so nostalgic to think of it even though it was horrible...]

[Aradia listens quietly, absorbing the stories. After a moment she pipes up.]

... It's hard, when you're used to fighting. Either you get complacent, or you can't stop fighting even when you want to relax.
