So, if what we've read in the alternate universe is true, this place feeds on souls, right? Human souls?

Here's something to ponder. Why are there people who generally don't have souls in the normal sense here? Demons, AIs et cetera. I think there's something more than just souls this place needs.

The excerpts that CLU put up on the CastleNet say that the human soul is the Primary power source. What's the secondary? Is there a secondary? We got answers, but more questions. Thoughts?

'Soul' could mean anything. Whatever it is, it's some kind of energy that all residents must share.

This is my point. If it's something we all share, what is it? I mean, everyone here has some form of sentience, at least. As far as I can tell.
