Everything I ever owned in the years I was in this place has just been returned to me.

'Mean, I know I wasn't always the neatest resident, but this is forcing me to clean. [She sighs, running her hand through her hair as she glances around her room.]

Sort'v not very fair of it.

[She makes a clicking sound with her tongue and then exhales, clapping her hands to get started.]

Oh! Anyone seen a lil' dinosaur 'round? Most my pets have seemed to wander on back, but she's missin'. I was just wondering.

Me? Oh-- my dear Rose, you know I would love to help a friend in need, but my schedule for the day is absolutely packed! Filled to the brim! If I were to write everything I have to finish down, it'd stretch for pages and be quite boring, I assure you!

But you know I'd be there in an instant if I could, right?

Oh, of course, you'd be here ready and waiting to give me the best amount of help possible.

[She's teasing, of course.]

So. When are you comin' for tea?

Tea? [this is a long pause.]






Well, I guess that entirely depends when you'll be finished cleaning... As I think at that precise moment, my schedule will seem to have MIRACULOUSLY cleared up!

[Oh, Abel.]

What if I were to trick you and tell you that I was done cleaning in a clever scheme to get you to help me? What'd you do then?

--Miss... Rose!! Tell me it isn't so~! Surely you wouldn't do something so utterly villainous!

Dastardly, even, yeah?

[She smiles.] Just come 'round for tea when you've a moment, alright?

Oh, yes-- most certainly dastardly. [sdlkjfsdf they're so dumb...]

--Right! Mm. I'll try to pencil you in to my busy schedule. [...what busy schedule Abel...]

Well, once you see fit to squeeze me in, you stop by.

Hmm... well, I suppose we'll see each other eventually, eh? [he'll be over in an hour or so, Rose. WILL YOU BE READY?]

[Oh, Abel, you're JUST IN TIME FOR MORE CLEANING. There's a path through the center of the room at least.]

...he only hesitates a moment before he's hugging her back]

A... ah. A nice warm welcome...

[okay now you're just getting outright squeezed. but not squished! he's being careful of that.]

[She doesn't mind the squeeze, the real hugs are worth holding onto anyway.]

I'm glad you're still here. Thought maybe I'd been losin' my mind, a bit.

No mind losing about, I'm happy to say...

...Are you alright? [kind of a lot to adjust to, isn't it? waking up back here, and... that life.]

[It's a lot of relief. She pulls away and smiles at him.]

Yeah, fine actually. Mean, settling in, as you can tell, but it's sort'v a relief in a way. I just keep thinking, 'least I'm not still trapped out there.

[ahh. he gives her a warm smile -- a little apology there for... well, all of this. even if life there had been far from bad... it wasn't exactly fun to learn your memories had been tampered with.

though it could've been worse. ...a lot worse, right?]

Mm. Though, if there was anywhere we had to be -- I'm rather glad it was there compared to some of the alternatives.

Yeah, wouldn't want to imagine all of us stuck in the old West.

No... I don't think I'd make much of a cowboy, personally. You'd look cute on a horse, though!

Had a few run-ins with horses before. Had one stuck on a ship. [She does recall that. Not the bits with Mickey, but she recalls being alone on the ship with the horse following the Doctor.]

They're not so bad.
