She admitted to having affections for me, but acknowledged that they will not come to pass. I did not kiss her or lead her astray, but I thought you should know in case she goes to you weeping.

[He's just leaving her a message, of course. So he doesn't get his ass kicked.]

[Here's a fairly chipper tone:]

There are conversations about expeditions... I wonder, curiously, why there is so much waiting involved. There is no need to amass supplies nor food when the castle gifts it so readily, no need to search for patrons to fund the expedition, so why do people not simply pack up a horse and depart? Even women and children could travel easily, like this.

People from the future are terribly pampered.

[Meanwhile, you can find Ezio in the garden, picking flowers for his lady.]

You can explain it all you want, it's still stupid.

But anyways, waiting for a certain date usually gives people time to wrap things up here. And even if we can wish stuff up from the castle for supplies, it still takes time to pack it all and make sure everyone who's coming is ready to go.

It's stupid because I'm pretty sure you know by now that most of the women here aren't like the ones in "your time".

It doesn't have to take that long, no. It's possible to get everyone mobilized quickly. But if you're in a hurry to leave, I don't think anyone would stop you from going ahead.

You could just go with the least offensive path and generally assume that people who are capable enough will go.

When it's a big group like that, it's usually scheduled in advance to accommodate everyone. There are plenty of people who go out into the Dead Zone here and there in small groups, though.
ino: (Did you seriously just say that?)

[a sigh ...]

Okay. For future reference: Implying a woman is inferior to a man is pretty much always going to be offensive unless otherwise stated.
ino: (Cheerful.)

Good. [seems appeased]
