There are conversations about expeditions... I wonder, curiously, why there is so much waiting involved. There is no need to amass supplies nor food when the castle gifts it so readily, no need to search for patrons to fund the expedition, so why do people not simply pack up a horse and depart? Even women and children could travel easily, like this.

People from the future are terribly pampered.

I have to do it myself. I have to know I have done it, be sure that everything has gone as planned. Would you be content to know that you and Brock had married, but have no memory of it yourself? Just the thought alone cannot satisfy.

I would be content to live in a frozen moment, knowing what lies ahead, da!

What makes you think there even is a way out?

I do not know. If people here who claim to be Gods or have met Gods cannot escape, what hope is there for us mortals?

Then why bother? Why bother worrying, or trying? Itching for the future will bring you nothing but misery.

I do not know, Molotov. I cannot control it, I simply do.

I just want him dead, and I want to know what a world without that vile bastard feels like.

He is not here, and instead of savoring that, you are obsessing over another world filled with moments yet to come.

If assurance that you will kill him is not enough to keep you from sleepless nights, then you are obsessed.

I would very much like to stay your friend, Molotov, I am just saying that you can be terribly critical. My quest has been my life for ten years. A story is not closure.

I am not critical of your goals, or your methods, or anything else, other than your sexist beliefs and the poor science you have been taught. I am critical of anyone who would spend time in a near utopian world to think about things they do not have to.

What reminders? The only other ones from your time are Cristina and Lucrezia, and since neither of them are your target, I fail to see the issue.

Is the woman I lost because of him not reminder enough? Had the Spaniard not killed half of my family, Cristina and I could have been married.
