There are conversations about expeditions... I wonder, curiously, why there is so much waiting involved. There is no need to amass supplies nor food when the castle gifts it so readily, no need to search for patrons to fund the expedition, so why do people not simply pack up a horse and depart? Even women and children could travel easily, like this.

There's something like hey, buddy! which is nice and casual. There's also bud, if you don't want that extra syllable there. Then there's buddy in the I-am-about-to-kick-your-butt way, which I may or may not have utilized in Gotham. Then there's buddy in the annoyed, sarcastic way.

That just sounds weird if you use friend. Watch it, friend. Blah.

Cristina is the closest to a scholar... and Lucrezia reads far more than I do. They are the best choice if you want to learn formal Italian... if we are being realistic, I'm going to teach you how to seduce men and offend people.
