I never know which way to take it anymore. It's only fair for people to be warned about the dangers of this place, but ... maybe I'm just getting really cynical. Most people who pass through here aren't going to ever have to deal with the kind of stuff us older residents have.

Either way, I'm not sure I like this. I don't think all this nice stuff is going to happen without any consequences ... I hate being kept waiting on the edge like this, though.

There haven't been any other people coming through with memories, either. I'm really beginning to think we're going to have to go find them ourselves, as crazy as that sounds.

... Well. Not any more crazy than most of the stuff I hear around here everyday.

[awhile after that private filter ... there is a dressed up blonde ninja wandering from the town over to the duck pond, just taking in all of the decorations while she walks. it's nice, reminds her of home a little :'( but she dictates into the journal finally:]

So those ghost people sitting around in town every day are people of authority in different worlds, huh? I wonder if any of the Hokage will show up. ... Or maybe a different Kage?

I suppose that goes hand in hand. But then, I wonder how you would fair, were our rolls reversed. This place perplexes me, these "friends" concern me, and now I know what awaits me.

I guess I'll never know, huh? I get to be the one who sticks around to greet everyone every time.

[... and she gets to be the one that cries every time someone important to her leaves, but ..... HAHAHA she won't actually say that part out loud. sighs, and rocks back on her heels]

But I guess I don't really blame you.

The library is already a frequent use of my time. This Flora thing, however, I am only just hearing about. What is it?

Ah, right, I guess people don't talk about it all that much ... It's a quiet place out in the forest that you can go. It's sort of like an inn, run by this old lady.

[a pause ...] I could show you, if you want?

Perhaps. Why do people prefer not to speak of it?

It's not that they prefer not to, it's more like there just aren't that many people who know about it anymore. [she'll stick a hand into the top of her coat and pull out a small necklace with a little crystal on it, holding it up so he can see the crystal] Have you seen anyone wearing one of these?

[He cocks an eyebrow at it, looking at it for a moment before shaking his head] Aside from yourself, clearly.
