[Noah is in his workshop, the journal resting beside him, propped up by a couple of books. He's been reading, listening, and working on a few things people have ordered. One piece is a leather vest fitted onto a tailor's mannequin, turned so that only the back is visible.
[He's taken a break from his leathers to carve. He's holding a palm-sized chunk of wood, slowly teasing something out of it with a sharp pocket knife.]
I've not had th' chance t' see too much of th' land beyond th' city, but I know some of ye have. I've heard about th' dead zone an' th' outpost, but I've not been here long enough t' hear the tales. I've done some readin' in th' library, but that only goes so far.
I'm askin' ye to tell me a story. Where ye've been, what ye've seen, where ye might go again.

so sorry for lateness... D:
[You've got Noah's attention.]
Pillars of rough stone, or carved?
[He's already curious how it's all laid out, imagining a great henge of some sort.]

They were smooth, as if manufactured, and all approximately the same shape. I have a map of the layout on file in the library, if you'd like to see it some time?
