Day One: Party!

[it's the summer solstice and a huge group of demigods safely made it to camp. This is clearly a good omen for things to come. The camp is alive with music and dancing. The satyrs are jamming on their lutes and the tree nymphs come out of the trees to dance. Everybody's invited!

The party will go on long into the night. It's all for you guys, so have a blast!]

[Steve shakes his head.] It's fine. We're just keeping up the tradition from Jo's world.

[Glancing up at.] You don't need to defend me. I got used to that guy messing me up after a while. Kept things interesting.

[persequor]

[ Not sure about tradition or anything, but... ]

I want a turn! Me next!

[huntersdaughter]

Here... wanna see if he can handle us both? Give me one of your hands. [She KNOWS he can handle this.]

I can put you right up on his shoulders.

[valuedstrength]

[Steve is pretty sure he can so don't expect him to argue.] Give it a try, Arya. I don't mind.

[persequor]

[ OMGOSHYAY. A hand shoots to Jo quickly. She is so excited she might just climb Steve like a tree. ]

[huntersdaughter]

[Jo shifts her leg, to hook to Steve's leg (FEEL THANKFUL THAT SHE WORE SNEAKERS) as she leans down to help heft Arya up. All barely fifty cents of her. She lets her climb on her own thigh to get up on Steve's shoulders and leans back a bit to give her enough room.]

Settled in?

[Steve barely notices the difference.] Yeah is everything okay? [He strives to be the best jungle gym.]

[ Laughing and pointing ahead! ] Yes! Let's go!

[huntersdaughter]

[Jo laughs and makes sure her one hand steadies Arya.]

Lead the way, Steve. Tally-Ho!

[valuedstrength]

[Steve smiles. This is enough to make him want to indulge them as much as possible. He works carefully to make it seem like he's slowly building up speed as they move forward.]

How fast do you think I can go without either of you falling off? [Your answer may cause him to break into a run and go a few laps around the fire area.]

[persequor]

I won't fall off! Even if you run!

[huntersdaughter]

You heard the lady. [This is going to probably look ridiculous, but Jo doesn't care.]

[valuedstrength]

[You don't have to ask him twice. He'll be running a couple laps around the fire unless he thinks someone is going to fall off.]

[persequor]

[ STEVE IS THE BEST STEVE TO EVER STEVE. She laughs as she clings to him and Jo. ]

[huntersdaughter]

[And after he slows down and comes to a stop, Jo'll get off of his back and reset Arya on there.]

Steve, you're down one passenger, but Arya seems pretty content to stick with the view.

[valuedstrength]

Alright. Who am I to argue?

[persequor]

[ Leaning to the side a bit so she can try to catch a glimpse of Steve's face. ]

I'm not too heavy, am I?

[valuedstrength]

[Steve gives a tiny shake of the head.] You're fine. I've been doing some push ups.

[persequor]

What's those?

[valuedstrength]

It's when you lay down flat on the ground and push yourself up over and over again.

[persequor]

Like a floor dip?
