Day One: Party!

[it's the summer solstice and a huge group of demigods safely made it to camp. This is clearly a good omen for things to come. The camp is alive with music and dancing. The satyrs are jamming on their lutes and the tree nymphs come out of the trees to dance. Everybody's invited!

The party will go on long into the night. It's all for you guys, so have a blast!]

[She waits a few seconds before saying]

How about now?

[And she extends her hand toward Jane]

[She looks at Nepeta's hand, then at Nepeta. She smiles and takes the offered hand.]

Well - why not?

Pawesome! This will be so much fun.

[Holding tightly onto Jane's hand, she leads her toward the other dancers, making sure not to lose her in all the hustle and bustle. She'd hate to scare off her dance partner!

When she's sure they've found a nice place to dance together without bumping into anyone else, she lets go of Jane's hand and turns toward her, and begins to dance.]

[Jane laughs a little as Nepeta leads her through the crowds. The troll girl's enthusiasm is catching! When Nepeta starts to dance, Jane watches her for a moment before taking a deep breath and following her lead.]

[Yes! That's it! The moment Jane starts dancing, Nepeta cheers for her. She spins around, careful to grab onto her own tail so it doesn't thwap against Jane.]

See? Isn't this fun? I told you it would be!

Hoo hoo! It is definitely fun! [Who knew cutting a rug could BE so fun?]

I'm Nepeta.

[Okay, that time she might have accidentally fwapped her with her tail, but she doesn't notice.]

What's your name?

[cyan_maid]

[She kind of stumbles a bit.] N-Nepeta?!

[So THIS is the person she roleplayed a confession to Jake with?! Her face goes red.]

I-I'm Jane!

[rogueofheart]

[She stops dancing rather abruptly and whirls toward Jane with wide eyes. So THAT'S who Jane is!]

Jane! Oh wow, I didn't know it was you!

[She's oblivious to the blushing as she lunges toward her and throws her arms around her neck, as if they were old friends.]

WHOA!!

[Jane nearly falls over! It is sheer luck that keeps her from falling onto anyone behind her.]

[At some point she lets go, unable to contain her excitement.]

You didn't tell me you were this purrtty!

[cyan_maid]

Huh?!

[She manages to regain her balance. The compliment, as cat puntastic as it was, has made her face turn redder with bashfulness!]

I love Jane's forever confused face

Pretty, that is! [She laughs] Sorry, the puns are sort of a habit. But wow, Jake is sure lucky to have someone like you after him!

She just makes these great faces, I love them too. :B

[AUGH NO don't bring that up!! Jane's red all over.]

Um, umm!

I really wouldn't think of it like that...!

[And just as quickly, she changes the subject once more and steers them toward dancing once again.]

Anyway, I'm glad I found you here. I didn't think I was gonna run into anyone I knew who wanted to dance!

[Oh wow, subject whiplash! Get back on track with the cat troll girl, Jane!]
