Day One: Party!

[it's the summer solstice and a huge group of demigods safely made it to camp. This is clearly a good omen for things to come. The camp is alive with music and dancing. The satyrs are jamming on their lutes and the tree nymphs come out of the trees to dance. Everybody's invited!

The party will go on long into the night. It's all for you guys, so have a blast!]

[Cloud is sitting near the fire, he seems relaxed--and he's gonna stay only for the while before he needs to patrol the perimeter as the security guard he was assigned to be. It's not like he's got anything else to do anyway.

Hmm, bonfires remind him of Cosmo Canyon...

And Cosmo Canyon reminds him of Red XIII, who reminds him of Bugenhaggen..., who reminds him of Barret a little, because of how much he wanted to bring AVALANCHE to study the Planet. And the Planet makes him think of Aerith because of the Cetra stuff, and then he can't help but think of the Black Materia because of the Temple of the Ancients and of course that leads him to think of ɥʇoɹıɥpǝs... ... Of the guy whose name he can't remember...

You think he's done? Nope, he, whose-name-cannot-be-remembered makes him think of Tifa and Nibelheim and all that happened and what he cannot remember--

Wow, Cloud, you're a mess.

Thing is, he might be feeling a tiny bit nostalgic. Having seen Reno earlier wasn't helping either, specially not when the redhead didn't remember him.

Tifa was right. Bonfires make you remember all sorts of things...

That also means he's ignoring the little girl, sorry 'bout that.]
