Day One: Party!

[it's the summer solstice and a huge group of demigods safely made it to camp. This is clearly a good omen for things to come. The camp is alive with music and dancing. The satyrs are jamming on their lutes and the tree nymphs come out of the trees to dance. Everybody's invited!

The party will go on long into the night. It's all for you guys, so have a blast!]

I wonder if the castle tried to pick the most offensive name it could think of. [Offensive to them and their friends--and probably quite a few others here.

With Raine? So, has she gone into "Ruin Mode" yet over that building over there? [Points to the Main House.]

[a soft heh] Not yet. Maybe she hasn't seen it yet.

[She just rolls her eyes derisively about the name choice before chuckling.]

I'm pretty sure we'll know when she does. [She sighs.] I don't know anyone in my cabin. [She points at the Hermes Cabin.] Which one are you in?

[He tries to remember...]

Polo? Apple?

I dunno, something like that.

[She's not sure if that's a typical lazy Zelos remark or a sign of that change she's heard about.]

Polo Apple?

Mine's Her Meez... [Phonetics are her thing...not spelling. Her voice goes quiet.]

It's the god of thieves or something.

[Pretty much typical lazy Zelos. Why bother learning these Earth names?!]

...Maybe there's not a god of ninjas?

[Because most of the people are from Earth and will know who you mean?]

That's what I was thinking, but...

It still kind of fits considering my skills.

[Lock-picking, sneaking into places, finding out information...]

Yeah, but don't read too much into it. I doubt these cabin assignments even mean anything.

[They can be important...even if she does miss them from time to time.]

Are you sure about that? I got the idea that this place doesn't do anything for no reason.

Sure I am! Not like we'll ever know what the deeper reason is, so why bother thinking about it? Things are what they are now.

You've been here for only a few days longer than me, and you don't want to learn more about this place? It's not home, Zelos, and sitting here thinking about it won't get us there.

About time you thought about that. I heard Raine's been researching the ruins. She might have gotten some clue from them.

[Why else would they be cut off from everywhere else if they didn't?]
