Day One: Party!

[it's the summer solstice and a huge group of demigods safely made it to camp. This is clearly a good omen for things to come. The camp is alive with music and dancing. The satyrs are jamming on their lutes and the tree nymphs come out of the trees to dance. Everybody's invited!

The party will go on long into the night. It's all for you guys, so have a blast!]

( with her free hand, she brushes some of her mussy hair behind her ear and finds herself flushing as his lips brush her hand. already she feels a bit better and some of her concerns for him dare to leave her. )

See? ( she smiles warmly to his. ) That smile is already getting better, Saga.

I don‘t think I can thank you enough for accomplishing said task.

[ Still holding her hand, now his smile is an amused one! :D ]

( ... she's starting to realize they're still holding hands. coughing softly, nervously, she pulls her hand back from his and lowers her gaze to stare intently into her lap because it's just become the most interesting thing to look at in the whole of the world. )

[ R-Right. He places his hand on his own and looks up and stares at the sky. Yes, it has become the most interesting thing for the same reason.

A long silence before breaking the awkward. ]

I believe you may know someone named Percy.

[bornofwisdom]

( Percy! she feels heat rise on her cheeks. although flustered, she finds herself smiling at the thought of her ridiculous boyfriend. )

I do.
You know Percy, too?

[ ... So his intuition wasn‘t that mistaken after all. It had to be so obvious since both are demigods. Her reaction, however...

His expression hides all his inner speculations. ]

I only met him through the journals. He told me who he really was.

[bornofwisdom]

( her smile fades and she narrows her eyes. )

He told you? I mean, just, told you?

( damnit, doesn't he ever learn? )

It just happened. We were sharing some information about his world, your world, and mine.

[ Would it be prudent to ask her about him? ]

... Is he someone important to you?

( she withholds a groan, if only because she's accidentally let her 'identity' slip now, so. she can't be too angry with Percy. )

Percy? ( again her cheeks turn pink and she gets a little shy. ) Percy is... the most important person to me here.

[sosweet]

[ Bawww! Don't be mad with the water boy~ ]

[ It's hard for him to digest the fact that Athena's daughter and Poseidon's son are together. In his world, their parents were enemies, and maybe his peers wouldn't accept it. Not even himself. As Percy said, he can't judge him nor Annabeth's relationship with him.

How ironic... ]

I only hope he treats you well. If not, he will fear the power of a Saint. [ A mocking grimace. ]

( Poseidon and Athena are less than cordial with one another in her world as well, so it's a surprise that she's managed to end up dating the son of Poseidon.

she finds herself laughing at his 'threat' because her mother seems to have also promised him some rough times ahead should he hurt her. )

I'll let him know. Now he's got mom and you to deal with.

[sosweet]

[ Now he feels very brotherly... or fatherly? ]

Is he strong?

Well, he's done a lot of things. Like defeated minotaurs and helped to send Kronos back to Tartarus.

So, you tell me. ( she smiles )

[sosweet]

[ Mouth open and staring at her. ]

... I think I should be the one to fear him.

[bornofwisdom]

He's pretty great.

( annnd this is where she leans on her palm, thinking about her boy.

... whom she hasn't seen all night, what is this garbage? oh well. )

[sosweet]

[ Sure love is... strange. But it must be nice. Saga takes her palm and has a look at it; with his other hand he throws said garbage away. ]

I think it is more than obvious that you were assigned to Athena's cabin.

[bornofwisdom]

I've been in mom's cabin ever since I got here and she claimed me.

( she smiles to him. it was a little embarrassing to ask, but: )

Do you... Think I'm like her?

[sosweet]

[ A gentle sound. ] As expected from her daughter.

[ And the question takes him off guard. Placing her hand down on the grass and parting from it, he gazes at her with a sweet expression and soft eyes. ]

I think you have always been.

[bornofwisdom]

A, always?

( she blushes gently at him. for not having knowing her for much longer than, well, a number of minutes, he so ridiculously sweet to her. )

Saga, you're so nice. Thank you. For as little as I get to see mom, it's nice to know that I'm at least a little bit like her.

[sosweet]

Always.

[ He feels there's a missing puzzle, that he should know how his Goddess looks like, but her Cosmo was noticeable; even when she was near death because of that arrow piercing her chest, when he was trapped inside his own struggle between good and evil... when he was hit by her shield's light...

Athena has always been there. And at the same time, she hasn't.

Except for one thing... ]

I cannot place it, but... it is your compassion and hers that makes you both very alike to each other.

Our compassion?

( she smiles. being compared to her mother should be something daunting, really. especially with her mother being a Goddess. but for Annabeth, being told she's like her mother is something that excites her. )

[ He nods at her. ]

Athena is known for being compassionate to her Saints, even with those who have lost the path of good and fall into the darkness.

[ And he lost it. Even when his motifs were well-intentioned... at least, a little.

He blinks. No one has called him like that before. ]

I guess mom is a pretty well rounded woman, she does appear to care a great deal about her peoples and children, so. Mm, I believe it about her Saints, too.

She seems pretty forgiving. ( well. sometimes. )

[sosweet]

I was told by my mentor that, in the same manner that she can punish, she can forgive.

It is how she makes justice prevail.

Mm, mom is... ( 'pretty cool.'

she just smiles, happy to have met someone whom seems to love her mother as much as she does. )

...well, she's something else.
