Day One: Party!

[it's the summer solstice and a huge group of demigods safely made it to camp. This is clearly a good omen for things to come. The camp is alive with music and dancing. The satyrs are jamming on their lutes and the tree nymphs come out of the trees to dance. Everybody's invited!

The party will go on long into the night. It's all for you guys, so have a blast!]

[ She shoots him a tight smile. Oh ha ha. ]

I'm not hiding.

[impetuous]

My apologies then. What are you doing?

[scinlae]

Waiting.

[impetuous]

For?

[scinlae]

[ Him. A distraction. The twist. This change to turn against them. ]

Something.

[impetuous]

Should I stop hoping for an answer that isn't vague?

[scinlae]

You should. [ She smiles despite herself. ]

[impetuous]

That one was direct.

[scinlae]

There is no rule that says I must be vague to all questions.

What are you doing here? Don't you have a party to attend?

[impetuous]

It's as much my party as yours. But you're all the way over here.

[scinlae]

Because I wished to be. [ Remember her general hating on everything? Yeah. ] And you did not answer my question.

[impetuous]

I did. [ He raises an eyebrow pointedly at her. ]

[scinlae]

[ She barks a laugh. ] It is only a matter of time before someone notices you absence and comes looking for you.

[impetuous]

Not really. Part of the boons of never staying in one place long. No one really notices you gone unless you disappear for several weeks.

[scinlae]

Well then, I have no reason to shoo you away.

[impetuous]

Thank the gods.

[scinlae]

[ She tilts her head simply watching him. He looks good in the shadows. ]

[impetuous]

[ Stepping up beside her, he leans his head toward her. Despite the noise and his speaking just above a whisper, he's close enough for her to hear. ]

Are you really all that interested in songs and stories?

[scinlae]

[ Her attention darts from him to the party all that distance away then returns, shoulders raising in a shrug. ]

No, my interests lie elsewhere. [ Besides that little party is pathetic, if she wanted songs and stories she would find herself a grand feast. ]

[impetuous]

Then let's go elsewhere. [ He nods to the woods. Easy enough to slip away unseen. ]

Yes, lets. [ She even doesn't hesitate in turning around and heading into the woods. ]

[impetuous]

[ He falls into step beside her, letting her lead. For once, he's quiet. The light is sparse and it takes him a while to grow accustomed to the darkness. ]

[scinlae]

[ If there is one thing Morgana has grown accustomed to, it is darkness. She pace is steady, faltering only once or twice to navigate him around a tree. Seriously, it wouldn't be good if he ran into one. Once the light from the party is but a dot in the distance she stops, placing a hand on his arm to halt him also. ]

Here we are, elsewhere.

[impetuous]

Good. [ Because he's been wanting to kiss her for a while. ]

[ Ah, good very good. She lets out a pleased hum and returns it, hands curling around the fabric of his shirt. ]
