Day One: Party!

[it's the summer solstice and a huge group of demigods safely made it to camp. This is clearly a good omen for things to come. The camp is alive with music and dancing. The satyrs are jamming on their lutes and the tree nymphs come out of the trees to dance. Everybody's invited!

The party will go on long into the night. It's all for you guys, so have a blast!]

Put simply, I see much that others do not. [She gives a bit of a mysterious smile before explaining further.] I see much that is, was, and will be. I may also see into the hearts of and minds of others, if I so choose.

[And then there's the part later in canon where she essentially knocks down an entire building with her powers.... but she doesn't talk about that part much.]

[She's rather used to that reaction.] I could, were it my wish to do so. It is not.

Of course. But with gifts such as mine, restraint is of the upmost importance. I do not intrude without either permission or great need. We are each of us entitled to some privacy, do you not agree?

Yeah. [He frowns, looking thoughtful.] I guess it's good that I can't read people's minds.

[He can't even resist and ice cream cone.]

[She gives a little laugh] It was not always so easy for me. I was something of a handful as child.

Really? Did you know a lot of people's secrets?

More than my fair share, certainly.

Did you get in trouble?

As much as any child. Fortunately, my father is a very patient man.

That's good. I kinda wish my mom was that way.

Surely you do not give her much cause for concern, charming and polite as you are. [Half tongue in cheek, half serious.]
