So, Johanna has to teach something? Not a great idea. She's not a bad teacher, she just has no idea what she's supposed to be doing when it comes to these kind of creatures. At lest there was Fluttershy to give her an idea.

"So, everyone... pet the horses I guess."

Yep, you're really not going to get any good training from her.

"If you want to learn how to fight, i can teach you that, but nothing with horses."

[she nods in greeting] Johanna Mason. Thou art a teacher?

Huh. [more staring at, but then she shrugs.]

Yeah, but I don't know anything about these guys. [she nods at the Pegasi.]

[a frown] Their care should be similar enough to the other ponies - except for their feathers of course.

[she just shrugs] I preen my own feathers. I know not what they are accustomed to.

I've never taken care of a horse or a pony before. They weren't every my thing.

I have cared for a foal, but certainly not adults. [and there's a whinny from one of the more talkative horses.

Luna sounds half exasperated, half amused.] But apparently, they enjoy being brushed.

[For those of you who want to interact with the Pegasi, come toward the pink-haired human wearing a gigantic yellow sweater. She's actually talking to the horses, nodding occasionally, petting their manes and looking quite at home.]

Well, maybe we can try to improve the food around here... Sometimes people might want to ride you for an emergency, but they really ought to ask permission first... Here, let me straighten your feathers for you, I know that can be annoying to fix...

[Johanna walks closer, but speaks before she's too close so she doesn't startle her.]

How are they doing, Fluttershy?

[She's still a bit surprised, but at least she's much calmer around you now. She turns around, nodding.]

They're all okay. They're a little different from what I'm used to, but it's not too bad.

[That's good. Johanna isn't a bad person, just ... Johanna. Yeah.. .anyway! She's being nice now.]

That's good. Anything they want to do today?

Some of them would like to stretch their wings... You know, fly...

That's cool. Anyone willing to let the campers ride along? Or at lest pet them?

[She idly begins pointing to a few.]

... They can be very sociable, if you treat them nicely...

[ GUESS WHO'S HERE? And actually walking over!

And not tripping this time! ...Although obviously not too steady on her feet still. ]

[Oh, so happy!!!]

Twilight! Look at you!

[ Twilight looks pleased. :3c ] I'm getting pretty good, right?

How are you doing?

I'm all right... I'm just trying to see what the ponies... I mean, horses... want to do today.

[learns]

[ Twilight looks curiously over at them. ]

Oh?

[ And now she's addressing them. ] You guys look bored. What do you even do for fun around here? [ She looks back at Fluttershy. ] I mean, they don't have any books around here...

[stalkershiki]

[Shiki goes up to one of the horses and begins petting her a little, and it's all sweet and stuff, but... she already knows how to pet a horse. It's somewhat intuitive. So, after a little bit, she turns to Johanna.]

...What kind of fighting can you teach?

Hand to hand. I'm good with an Axe too. Stuff that can save you if someone is trying to kill you.

I already know a fair amount of hand to hand, but... I mean, when you get a moment, if you don't mind, it'd be kind of cool to learn some axe fighting...?

Well, it's more flinging, but sure. I took a few from the armory before hand. [She nods to a few sticking out of a log. They are well placed into the wood.]

First thing, picking up the axe. Go try and get it out of that wood.

Get it out of the wood? Uh, okay.

[Shiki walks over to the log, picks an axe, grips the handle, and tries to pull it out of the wood. The operative word is "tries". Instead, she tugs too hard on the grip, not realizing how little the axe would move, and the force moves too hard backwards and she falls down instead.

She gets up again, and pulls on the handle once more, but slower this time, trying to wiggle the axe out of the log.

At least she's not falling down now?]
