In my time, it is unusual for a man to remain completely faithful to his wife, but in your time, it is criminal to stray. How do the men of your time handle the temptation? I assume that has not vanished in 500 years.

Well, it's not criminal, but yeah, a lot of people get divorced because of that. So that's supposed to be enough to keep you from, uh, "straying," I guess. Or it could be that people equate monogamy with love or something? I don't know.

It is very normal. There are very few I can think of who have remained completely faithful to their wives, but Cristina is not so patient. I am on my fourth chance. She will not allow me another... and if she did, she is rather foolish, to be honest.

She's... I love her, but I was in love with her when I was seventeen. That was a long time ago. We are different people now, but she's all I have left from that time in my life.
