[Yuan is a little startled to encounter this, and it takes him a while to formulate a reply.]

I could not be more proud of her. She has seen and done more than should be asked of any child.

[Someone's wandering around the camp, too, getting his bearings, idly fiddling with the fletching of one of his arrows. It makes sense that he has a bow and quiver with him.

As he passes the lady on the horse, she gets a friendly nod.]

[Wesley has been doing much the same, although on foot. It might have looked like he's just out for a stroll, but he had already memorised the layout on the map and is comparing it with the real thing, to see if there are any discrepancies. Hidden places. Other points of interest.

The only problem? He seems to have lost his footing on the trail and twisted his ankle. It's embarrassing and annoying. Luckily no-one saw him fall. He'll be able to get back to camp fine, but it's just going to take slightly longer than planned. He's found a sturdy branch to use as a walking stick and he's only favouring the leg a little bit. It's barely noticeable.]

[Unfortunately for Wesley, Cat is extremely observant sometimes. Certainly observant enough to notice a limp. She stops and calls down from her horse.]

[He's seen her out and about and her voice is one he recognises. Wes offers her a respectful half bow. Then he looks down at himself.]

It's just a minor mishap. I should have been watching the path more diligently than I was.

I assure you, I don't plan to go chasing for game any time soon. But the camp is not far, I expect I'll manage.
