[When Ted wakes up and discovered he had gone to sleep simply out of boredom to wake up two weeks later, it didn't exactly grip him with the same anxiety as it had the first time it happened to him, but it did cause him to think that maybe it was a signal of some sorts. A signal to get off his ass and actually do something.

He'd spent most of the morning simply mulling over the matter, skimming the journal idly and glancing at his various belongings-- like the trashcan in the corner, filled to the brim with crumpled papers of failed architectural designs.

Hey. Uh, sorry for not checking up on you, I was kind of in a loss-induced coma. [He continues on smoothly, unfazed.] I know it's still kind of cold out, but do you want to go take a walk in town?

Yo, guys, it's Ted. Got knocked out for a couple weeks, so I hope I didn't miss anything too exciting. Hey, um, I guess this is directed more toward people who know me, but. You guys want to hang over at my place later? [He gives a shrug despite himself.] There's not really an occasion. But hey, why does there need to be? We're alive. Young. We need to rile this place up! Get lively!

Plus I haven't watched Galactic Battles in forever. Who's with me?

but i dont think anything too exciting has happened
you can safely assume i will be there at your galactic battle party i dont think ive seen that one

im not sure what the scale on the map is
or how accurate it is for that matter
but to the best of my knowledge its pretty damn far
possibly several months travel

i dont think so!
nobody from the castle anyway
obviously the people who built it must have been there
as well as whoever painted it
according to the map its still in the dead zone even that far out
so thats been a big deterrent right there

but i cant just spend the rest of my life screwing around in a magical castle
its fun sometimes i have to admit but
for all intents and purposes i have eternity to look forward to
and that is not how i want to spend my eternity

You know what? I'd say "Fine, just be careful", but what happened when I went on the expedition? No amount of caution could have prevented it.

A train, going god knows how fast, slammed right into a wall. A lot of people were severely injured, and it was a miracle nobody died.

Those kinds of miracles, they don't happen twice in a row, Aradia.

[His voice is pretty tight. Thinking about the expedition, especially the train crash, makes him have a lot of feelings.]
