[Why hello there, Paradisa! What a lovely, spacious, clean lobby you have! It's so shiny and dirt free, the ghosts must have worked on it for hours. Or magic, whichever. It's almost like it's asking to be messed up... Well what do you know-- here's Korra and Naga coming to do just that.

The main doors to the lobby suddenly fly open, revealing a teenager and a polar bear dog. The girl's yawning loudly as she rides into the room. She keeps her eyes closed and leans back in the sadel, talking to someone who obviously isn't there anymore.]

I agree with Bolin. We should definitely find some food soon, I'm famished!

[She falls silent now, waiting for a response from someone, but the only thing she receives is Naga stopping and whining quietly. This causes Korra to open her eyes and look around, suddenly much more alert than she was before.]

Ohhhhkay. This really isn't below Republic City. Pretty sure Gommu would have mentioned this... [Glancing down to her friend, she pats Naga on the side.] What do you think, girl?

[It's a louder whine this time. She glances back to see the trail of sewer muck they've brought into the lobby.]

I hope whoever owns this place won't be too mad, but being near sewers is a risk I guess.

[She jumps off Naga now, giving the creature space as she shakes herself off, mucky water flying everywhere. Some drops even sprinkle the pages of the open journal nearby. Hopefully no one was too close to them.]

[ It's hard to want to reach out, especially after losing Toph, but what is she supposed to do? Seclude herself? Hide away? She'd done too much of that lately, and it wasn't helping anything or anyone.

So when she hears the obvious newcomer over the journal, she puts a smile into her voice, clears her throat. ]

Hi, there! Um. You're new, aren't you?

[Looking around now, Korra hasn't found the source of the voice.]

Uh... who said that?

There should be a little book nearby -- a journal?

[Looking, she finds it! She does stare for a bit as the words are recorded, though.]

Whoa. What is this thing?

[Someone is watching from around the corner, utterly fascinated by Naga. but she's trying to stay hidden, because eee humans scary!]

You've sort of been - oh, this is so hard to explain to people. This place, the castle you're in? It took you from home. Not permanently, but people end up waylaid here for a while. Via magic.

You're joking, right? That's comeplet-- Ugh, hang on. This muck is in the way.

[Avatar State, Yip Yi-- no not yet. But there is a pause as she bends the gunk from the page and flicks it to the side.]

That's completely insane.

[SNIFF SNIFF FLUTTERSHY! Naga smells the pony and turns to face her.]

[waterbends]

[ -- spirits that really looked like bending and Katara does her damndest not to get her hopes up. Again. ]

Here.. are you in the lobby? I'll come give you the tour.

[doggyyyy *A* She timidly pokes her head out further, amazed.]

Wow... so big...

Uh... it's a pretty big room with stairs and doors and... couches. So I guess so.

[waterbends]

Five minutes. I'll be right downstairs.

[polar]

[Korra barely hears the voice, but it is audible to an extent. Turning, she looks at Naga, then the... pony.]

What?

dictated;

[polar]

Okay then.

[3_butterflies]

[HUMAN. She squeaks, and then quickly ducks back behind the corner.]

[waterbends]

[ And then, a few minutes later, Katara is thumping down the stairs. She hits the bottom one, scans around for Korra, and -- her mouth kind of drops open. ]

That's a polarbeardog!

[polar]

Um...

[Naga follows, sniffing loudly.]

[3_butterflies]

[No getting out of this one, apparently. She gulps, and stops, looking at Naga.]

H-Hello...

[polar]

[Korra looks at the newcomer, blinking a little. Something seems familiar, but she can't place it.]

Yeah, she is. Her name's Naga. Don't worry, she's not mean to people I get along with.

[polar]

[Omg it spoke! Korra yelps and jumps back, bringing her arms up in a guard position.]

What are you?

[waterbends]

I'm sorry if this is rude, and it might not make any sense, but - people are pulled from a lot of different worlds here, and - are you from one of the water tribes?

[polar]

Different worlds? What're you talking about?

[This look.] You mean like the Spirit World, too?

[waterbends]

No! I mean - other worlds that aren't connected at all --

[ Excuse the sort of run-on sentence here, but Katara is thrilled out of her head. ]

-- but you ARE from my world!

[3_butterflies]

[Not a good reaction. Frightened, she hides behind Naga.]

P-Please don't hurt me! I-I just wanted a look at the dog!
