Sooo... is that normal? The changing worlds thing. Because it didn't seem like you guys were that surprised by it, but I always thought it was a big deal to go between worlds like that.

I mean, I didn't mind. Summer camp is great! I wish I got to go more often.

[And by "more often" he means "ever."

There's a pause, then hurriedly, like he forgot:]

Oh, yeah! And is there a lost and found somewhere? I'm looking for something.

Wait, really? [what what.] You can do that?

[spongetastic]

Sure. It's easy.

[fantasies]

But it's not real magic.

[Still, though. That's pretty cool.]

[spongetastic]

Are you sure?

[fantasies]

Well-- [He was in the process of saying, "well yeah" but he gets halfway through and suddenly he ISN'T.] Uh. I mean, I guess you could do that with real magic, too. But you said it was a trick.

[spongetastic]

I'm not sure what to call it. Maybe you can come up with a good name.

[fantasies]

[HMMM.]

Okay. I'd have to see it to know for myself anyway.

[spongetastic]

Sure, why not.

[fantasies]

Can I come now?

[spongetastic]

If you want.

[fantasies]

Okay. Where are you?

[spongetastic]

On the second floor, by the clinic.

[fantasies]

Great! Wait there, I'll be there in a second.

[spongetastic]

Okay.

[fantasies]

[And off he goes! It's probably five or ten minutes before he rounds the corner.]

[spongetastic]

[what an energetic kid]

That was fast.

[fantasies]

Huh? [He glances over his shoulder.] Oh, yeah, I guess so. I walk home from school a lot.

[spongetastic]

[puts down the medical texbook he's been reading for the millionth time]

You wanted to see my trick, right? Pick something in the room, but try not to make it too big.

[fantasies]

[He points at the book!]

What about that?

[spongetastic]

Sure. [he sets the book down and stands a good distance away. With a twitch of his fingers the book jumps up into the air and spins around]

[fantasies]

Whoa! [He jumps forward to investigate! He looks delighted, though.] How'd you do that?

[spongetastic]

With my mind. [he keeps the book suspended so Henry can make sure there are no strings]

[fantasies]

[He waves his hands around it.]

So it is magic.

[spongetastic]

Telekinesis.

[fantasies]

Oh. I guess that's not exactly the same....

[He has to think about it. They look pretty much the same, but telekinesis is something he reads about in comic books. That doesn't mean it's not real, but he never really considered magic and superpowers to be in the same realm.]
