[Did the weather forecast say something about having a nice sunny day today? Well, they were wrong!

Distant thunder can be heard over the journals, a storm is coming and it shows. There is a drop of water on the pages, then two... Then it seems someone left the tap open over the journal because it's suddenly pouring over it. Then the rain moves away but the thunder goes on and it can be heard passing by the corridors.

Hello people in the lobby, there is thunder and rain coming down the stairs. And at first you don't know who left the windows open, but apparently outside it's sunny and cloudless! So what the hell is going on?!

Oh, there seems to be your problem. Have a little stormy Ccloud coming from upstairs, moving slowly as clouds tend to move when there is a gentle breeze, only, there isn't any breeze coming from anywhere.

It must be your imagination but is that cloud a little spiky or something?

Huh... Run get your umbrellas!]

[Thank god for that, since thunder's loud to begin with, and inside it's even worse. Now that it's calmed down, she gives the cloud a smile.]

[Help... help how, sister? He approaches a little at her, willing to listen at least.]

[Well, it had taken a few minutes, but Sheena finally realized just how odd the cloud coming down the stairs was. She pulls out her still-damp journal.]

I'm beginning to think you caused the rainstorm that came through this...

[Oops? Cloud stops suddenly--she's not mad is she? Girls are scary, he knows this! After hanging with Tifa and Aerith that long... He knows!.]

[She sees him stop and is puzzled for a moment.]

Oh! I'm not going to hit you or anything.... I've just been doing a lot of research on losses lately. [Crash course.] And I think that's what's going on.

[Oh, that works, he approaches further. What were you saying about research? And why does he have the feeling she'll want to experiment on him... Huh.]

[Holds up her journal and opens it. It's still a little wet and a few droplets of water fly as she does so.]

I figured you were the one that made it rain in my journal, since you came down the stairs right after. Remember? I said a cloud inside is kind of strange.

[She's not going to experiment on him; she's not that type of person. Unless it's tasting her food.]

[He's staring at that journal, even if it doesn't look like it! Oh darn, he did make a huge tantrum huh? How to even apologize? He hovers lower, maybe that'll work.]

[Thinking he's going to storm again, she pulls back slightly, relaxing when he doesn't.

Slowly, she reaches up and "pats" his head?]

It's okay. Sometimes these things happen.

[So says the young woman who tore up her room when she got here.]

[Huh, it's weird not to feel anything from that--her hand might be a little moist though. Why is he even being patted? Oh, well.

He's glad she's one smart person though and she's understanding him the best she can and wonders how this person can help him with his little problem...]

[Yeah, her hand came away a little damp, but it was kind of cool and soothing. At least from that pat he'll know she doesn't want to hurt him.

And she's not smart, just recently experienced. Spotting a place in the window where she can sit down, she takes it, motioning for him to follow.]

Come on, let's see if we can figure out a way to help you.

[He follows, and settles around her. He's usually quiet but it's not fun either not to be able to say anything...]

[Sheena chuckles. That kind of tickles.]

Okay. From what I read, these losses are temporary. [Good news, nice cloud?]

[He's heard that too! Let's just hope it's for real. He stays still, expecting for her to continue and trying to look attentive (how does a cloud do that?).]

[She takes his non-negative response as a good sign. She continues, hoping he's not asleep.]

If I remember correctly, these can last from only a few days to several. [Not good news, and she gives him an apologetic smile.]

I wish I could perform magic.... [Wait.] I wonder if a wish would turn you back?

[He's definitely not asleep, so don't worry.

Hmm, now that part doesn't sound too good... A few days, it could even be a month from what he's heard himself... What if it's permanent!? Calm down, Cloud... Don't panic.

Oh? Magic? The only magic he knows is the kind one uses to fight. So he'll assume she does too... Not helpful.

However that last one does sound more logic to him. He floats from her side to the front of her face. Go ahead, please wish for him to change back.... He's not sure it might work but he's willing to try.]

[He assumes right; she's only familiar with magic used in battle or for healing. Unless the illusions created by Mithos count.... Either way, she couldn't cast any of it, so he's out of luck in that regard.

Delicate eyebrows arch in surprise when he moves and she gives the fluffy cloud a smile.]

You like that idea, huh? For me to wish you back? [She pauses and takes a deep breath.] Okay, here goes:

I wish for the cloud in front of me to be turned back to normal.

[...

And of course nothing happens...

Cloud allows himself float down to ground level. This sucks, man.]

[Her smile fades as he sinks, and she joins him, kneeling next to him.]

I'm sorry. I really hoped it would have worked.

[It's fine... He'll deal with it. And even if he doesn't show it (because he doesn't know how!) he appreciates the effort!

I really am sorry. [She repeats the sentiment as she stands and leans against the sill.]

The only thing you can do is wait, I guess.

[He's a person who's a cloud... What the hell is he supposed to do during all that time?

[He appears to be nodding! Hovering up and down a couple of times. Thank you. But he won't leave now. What would he want?

Actually he wants to know her name, but he's pondering how to ask.]

[Sheena watches him, her brows knitted in confusion. The cloud was still there, so he must need something else. But what?]

Hmmm...Did you want to do something?

[She puts her journal (with her name on it) away and smiles up at him. She'll spend time with him if he wants.]

[Sweet coincidences... He obviously heads to her journal and stares at the cover tiny moment. Then he settles down again next to her. He doesn't mind doing much right now...]

[She watches him, her eyes widening in understanding as he approaches the book. She holds it steady for him.]

Guess you really can't ask, can you?

[Sheena doesn't mind not doing much right now, either. besides, the little cloud might enjoy the peace after the change he went through.]
