If I understand correctly, tomorrow is a day of celebration for the people who come from the land of Yewessay [Yes, he says it like that, because what are acronyms?]

Since it is apparent that small explosive devices are a common part of the festival, I have put together a small supply of them. If you wish to have some, you may come obtain them here at my shop in town [and he'll scribble directions to his alchemy lab here].

Don't let me hear about anything malicious being done with them.

[She giggles, picking one of them up and inspecting it]

Aim high and watch it flyyyyyyyyyyyyy BOOM!

The effects will be small. I wasn't sure I could replicate those larger aerial explosions you might be thinking of. And you should stand back after lighting them, or you could get burned.

[Maybe he should...make sure she gets it]

Theoretically I could have as well, but I wanted to be sure of my knowledge before I attempted them. And such things are not meant to be handled by a layperson.

[He nods, though, and takes up a few of the firecrackers and walks out to the street]

[She giggles, skipping along beside him and singing]

[Durge says nothing, but proceeds until he finds a clear enough section of road and stoops to wedge one of the firecrackers between a cobblestone, then backs up and hands Ed a matchbook]

[She takes the matchbook, hopping from foot to foot as she pulls out a match. Still hopping, she pulls a match out and lights it, stilling just long enough to light the fuze before running away to stand next to Durge with a HUGE grin on her face]

[It takes a few seconds for the fuse to run out, then then is a loud fizzing and a loud crackling whistles at it emits a series of glittering white sparks]

Hmmm...just as predicted.

[She laughs, dancing around]

Yaaaay! Another! Another!

[He holds out another to her]

Would you like to set the next one?

[She snatches it out of his hands and races over to place it, dancing in a circle around the spot before setting it down. Pausing, she stares at it before patting the sides of her shorts as if searching for something like she has room for pockets in those things. Not finding what she's looking for she races back over]

Edward needs something so Edward can light it.

[Durge's mustaches twitches into something that might almost be a smile. He holds out his hand]

Here. Matches.

[She grins, snatching them from his hand] Thank yoouuu!

[Racing back to the firework, singing] Strike a match light the booom!
