I’ve never thought I would think it, much less put the words on paper, but I never want to try and put something together again.
I’ve never been so irritated in my life and trust me; there have been a lot of opportunities.

I can’t even begin to speak I’m so mad.
I hate these stupid losses, forget that this is permanent.

( there’s a splat as her final period from hitting the page so hard. moments later she adds to the scribe: )

I’m really sorry to the friends and family of the man who was killed.
I hope the person responsible is found quickly and is dealt with accordingly. Paradisa has a good justice system here, I hope?

You're such a strong swimmer, though. Even without your dad's abilities passed onto you. Just avoid waters with really bad currents, I guess.

Annabeth... [he moves his lips to her ear. This isn't a big deal like her suggesting he move in, but it's still big for him]

( her breath hitches with his words, she hugs her arms around him tighter still and smiles against the crook of his neck. )

[now he can officially die happy. And he isn't even noticing the cool little water-seat he made for them, keeping them afloat]

( she's just going to keep hugging him, best moment ever, despite it all. )

( there has to be some good times through the bad, after all. so with that, she's going to tug back from him ever so slightly just so she can move back in, brushing her lips to his to kiss him this time )

[every time they kiss is the next best moment of his life. He pulls her down under the water with his magical bubble keeping them in air. Underwater kisses are still the best kind]

What kind of seriously dangerous stuff?

Trusted friends being turned into demons, people possessed by evil aliens, vampires attacking everybody... Stuff like that.

It's sort of like back home: if you can't find the happy moments, then all the bad moments will bog you down.

[he nudges her gently] It's not all bad. I've met lots of really cool people and I've explored a lot. There's plenty to love about this place.
