It's not about what has appeared - it's about what has disappeared. In this case... Ashura's hair. Six foot of hair is gone from his head, leaving him perfectly bald. Seriously, there was a small shine on that cue-ball headed coming off the light in the hallway and even his ears felt a bit cold. Surely his neck did.]

[Because surely the wizard would know how to fix this, wouldn't he? Please? You have gone a step to far this time, Castle! You never mess with a man's hair!]

I do not see who would. Most who lack hair usually... well, they are comfortable with that status. I have not cut my hair in well over two hundred years.
