Ah...I'm sorry if this may bring you some discomfort but...

I was wondering if there could be anything made so that we would...have a way to look after all the bodies of those who have...passed, as there has been some troubles with that in the past.

To be honest, I admit I know very little about the subject. In my time and religion, it is customary to bury a person but it seems as though many people dislike that idea in this castle.

And I do understand the importance of funerals and respecting the death and I feel that should still be done and it should be left to those who are closest to the deceased to do decide those things, but...um...surely there can be something we can do to ensure that things are done respectfully and does not cause harm to those who could be returning?

Yes, the clinic is almost always being run after all....I could probably try to talk to the doctors about putting it there.

I'm not sure they'll trust us as those either, actually. But the clinic is still the most trusted group in this castle. [as sad as the trust rate with them is..]

They do, but...mistreatment of the bodies while they are deceased can have some very negative effects on the person when they return.

Not only that, but death is still death.

As it's been said...a person after they die are still left aware in some sense. They will feel any sort of repair that is required to be made for their body on their return. The more damage that they have, the worse it will be. It seems that it is a slow and painful process as well.

So...something like a cremation can be rather...traumatic for the individual.

In my world we have a kind of...well, it's called cryosleep. We use it mainly on long journeys - it keeps a person alive, but in a very deep sleep and we're able to monitor their vitals. It wouldn't be hard to set up something like that in the clinic. It would keep the bodies in perfect condition.

Of course. It's meant to keep people alive, after all, so it keeps the body in exactly the same condition. Plus you could also use it if people needed to sleep for a long time - maybe recovering from a surgery, or if they have some kind of dream magic, or whatever.

It wouldn't be easy to make, but we have enough skilled people here it shouldn't be hard.

Um...possibly. And we would keep them in a safe place! Like the clinic or something.
