[There's no chill in the morning air today, but Phoenix is still buried under blankets--and an Eevee asleep on his legs--on his futon in his room. Having awoken with a rather unpleasant headcold and low-grade fever, he promptly wished for some hot water with lemon and many extra blankets.
Now, his fever has escalated, his throat is sore and his muscles ache; when he speaks into the journal, it's with a weak whine.]
I'm definitely dyinnng....
[He's very much not, but he does have, for all intents and purposes, a bad case of the flu.]
And my... my wall thing is gone!
[High fevers don't do much for elocution. He takes a deep breath and tries desperately to think of the word.]
The thing--it was hanging on my wall. Big picture, really pretty....
[With a groan, he gives up and wishes for more lemon water. Strange, he seems to be getting a stomach ache now....
Hope that multitude of fireworks was worth it.]

assuming name exchange from the last thread ok?
works for me :3
[The whining levels are increasing, and he coughs.]
I don't know what's wrong. When I woke up I was just a little sick... and my wall thing was still here, too!

[It's a tapestry; he's gesturing futilely to the wall where it was hanging before the castle took it away for too much wishing.]
But I swear it was there.

That can wait. You sound a bit ill. [and if the bug spreads over the journal, it'd be troublesome]

[Have a few coughs to drive that point home.]

What is the problem here? [...] Other than the "wall thing."

[By itself that sounds like a pathetic reason to be whining this much, so he quickly adds to it.]
And... I'm achey. I think I have a fever, too!

[if he hasn't out of some "manly" I-can-power-through-it idea, it's not funny]

[There is very little manly about this man. Really, he didn't go to the clinic because he didn't think of it.
He was too busy pouting.]...d'you think I should?

Better to fix whatever the problem is early.

You're sick too...? Man, I've been puking an awful lot today...
[a pause]
What wall thing...?
[clearly he has his priorities, just like Nick]

[Despite this, he's not made the connection as to why he's sick just yet.]
I hope I didn't get you sick...!
