Hey guys. Did you know? Paradisa's moon is actually blue... you think I would have noticed that, but I guess I just either forgot, or I just stopped looking at the moon seriously. It's actually really pretty, but if you think about it... why is it blue? Is the moon itself blue, or is it caused by some weird reflection coming off of the earth.

Oh, that reminds me, I can't remember... is the sky blue because it's reflecting off the blue of the ocean, or is the ocean blue because it's reflecting the blue of the sky? I know it's one of the two, but I can't remember which. I was thinking about it while I was watching the sky earlier, and it was really bugging me. So if anyone can help me with that, that would be great.

[but Maya, why have you been sitting here and staring at the sky all day? Well, all of the wishes that she's accumulated over the last three years have caught up with her, and she's been stuck on the roof for pretty much the whole day. Over the course of the day she's slowly inched her way over to her journal, so that's a step in the right direction. But, of course, Maya being Maya, it's not like she's going to admit that her energy is all sapped, so you get to listen to her inane ramblings :) Congratulations]

Another thing, where do constellations come from? People just made them up in older times by looking for shapes in the stars, right? So... doesn't that mean that anyone could make up a constellation? If that's the case, I know what's going to be my next project.

There are always different interpretations for the constellations, depending on what culture you're from, or what world. The constellations in Fiore are probably known by different names and histories in Edolas - but it is true, that they're based off of what pattern the stars make in the sky. Like a map to identify which stars are where.

[ GLaDOS would be listening to the ramble, smiling a bit to herself despite her current headache and lack of want to do much of anything. Stupid illness. It seemed to come out of nowhere too, but she couldn't do much about it.

After Maya was done, she would finally talk. ]

The blue moon does sound interesting, though. I think I might come see it. [ She had never really paid attention to that when she was outside. She might hear the sound of the journal getting picked up and a slight sniffle. ] Are you on the roof?

[yipes! pretty much imagine her making this pose, but all the movement is located in her face. Then she squiiiiiiiints up at him]

Long enough to hear a great deal of your rant.

Yeah. I'm a celestial wizard, so I have a close connection to the spirits of the celestial realm- many of them are based on the constellations themselves.

Yep! It's the premiere spot for star-gazing and all sky related activities.

Oh. [ooooh, now her face shifts to curious] Do you know why the sky is blue? Is it the ocean or the sky itself?

It's something to do with the atmosphere and the light. I don't remember the details.

Alright. I'll be there soon. [ Usually, she wouldn't bother, but she felt like doing something to keep herself occupied. And working on her own things just wasn't working. She felt distracted.

So after a little while, have GLaDOS pop in on the roof and sit next to Maya, closing her journal next to her. ] You seem comfortable.

Well you should go look it up. [Maya please stop talking]

[she would wave, but instead she kind of... wiggles her right pointer finger in greeting] That's me, comfortable as a.... cat? I think that's the phrase.

Well, there is one star spell I know, but I can't cast it right now. It's considered an ultimate magic spell, and I don't remember all of it. Though it's coming back to me, little by little.

Actually, we spirit mages - or celestial wizards - summon spirits from the celestial realm via keys.

Because what if the sky suddenly changes? My new career in astronomy will be ruined if I don't keep a vigilant gaze on the night sky.

Besides, that's what assistants are for.

Ultimate magic spell... That sounds really awesome, like you're going to launch a star out of the sky and use it to crush some bad guys.

Spirits? What kind of spirits? [because that sounds like a little bit what she does]

I'm sure it will be fine for ten minutes.

[ Have a raised eyebrow. ] You look pretty tired.

[ Either that or Maya's lazier than GLaDOS thought. But she was a lot more energetic the last few times they had met. She shifts to get more comfortable on the floor, looking up at the sky. ]

This is what happens when you go up to random girls and start asking them questions. You enter situations that spiral out of your control.

But don't worry, I'm a nice boss, I'll make sure you're properly compensated for your hard work.

It's... sort of like that, but to cast it, it takes all of my magic, so - if I'm not able to defeat someone with that, I'm left vulnerable for a little while.

Well - there are the Zodiac spirits, who help fight with me in battle. They're the rare ones - but I also have a few more common spirits, like Nikola, Lyra, and Crux.

They all have different abilities - and personalities, but they're all very dear friends to me.

I'm not tired, just... resting! You know, as you do sometimes. [with a bit of concentrated effort she makes her right hand form a thumbs up, but lifting it up is out of the question, so she just hopes that GLaDOS sees it]

Isn't it nice? I never really look at it, so it's kind of relaxing to just stare at the sky.
