[The voice is an obvious one, and obviously in pain; Edgeworth had crossed Phoenix's mind more than once during the "wishitis" fiasco, and he's worried when he hears how tired the prosecutor sounds.

Still. He can't talk to Edgeworth.

But he can send Sunflower the Eevee in his stead, and so he does. She'll be arriving at Edgeworth's bedside with a blanket folded up and carefully tied to her back, a little mesh ball filled with tea leaves hooked to her collar, and her namesake, a sunflower, in her mouth.

[Sitting atop his lovely...cot, Edgeworth looked over to his side when Eevee announced her presence with a distinctive yip.


...Sunflower? Whenever did y-...? How did you get in-...?

[His own pokemon then barked in response]

Well, hello there, Sunflower. What is that you have there?

[She yips again and runs around in a circle three times before dropping the sunflower on his lap and shaking to try to rid her back of the blanket.]

[Chuckling lowly, Edgeworth assists in peeling the blanket away. Putting the blanket aside, he lifts her up, holds her close and scratches her under her chin, coddling her like an infant.]

[She wiggles to get him to notice the tea ball attached to her collar. She's not quite as intuitive as Veritas is, but she knows she has a mission to deliver these items to her master's friend, and she's not about to mess that up!]

[ Kirby hasn't exactly been doing well. Wishing so much definitely wasn't a good thing, as the pink puffball barely had the energy to move. At one point, though, he would notice the artistic display of fruit waiting for him, brightening up immediately. Food! He had been afraid to wish it for the past while, literally worsening his condition with every wished attempt to improve it, so along with his sappe energy, he was starving. He would weakly take one of the grapes on top when he noticed who exactly it was from, a small cravat tied to one of the display's fruit slices.

Edgeworth! In other words, one of his best friends ever. Kirby was really grateful... So grateful, in fact, that after eating, he musters up the strength to get to his feet and drag himself to the guy's room. When he made it there, he would knock weakly on the door, exhausted. ]

[Edgeworth conceals a bottle of Midol under his pillow and drags himself over to the door. Already accompanied by Sunflower and Veritas, he thought his dismal day could not have brightened any more until he opened the door to reveal his precious little friend, Kirby. Kirby's very noticeably lacking the usual wanton gleam in his eye (if that didn't go to say for just about everything else), and that immediately communicated to Edgeworth one thing: Kirby was also afflicted.

He stoops down, facing him.]

[ Kirby would give him a weak smile in response to the worried face, not wanting Edgeworth to fret over him. But he looked terrible, too! The puffball hopes that he wasn't nearly as badly hurt by this wishing business as he was, so the prosecutor's concern was mirrored in Kirby's rather dull blue eyes. ]

Poyo poyo? [ he would ask worriedly, weakly lifting a hand to point at Edgeworth. Was he okay? He hoped he was at least better off than Kirby. The puffball wasn't easily sated so he was still hungry, but the fruit had helped a considerable amount compared to nothing. ]

...This dastardly castle knows no bounds...

[He clicks his tongue in annoyance before extending a hand to Kirby, smoothing his palm over his little pink head, misreading Kirby's concerned gesture as request for a bit of attention. Veritas ran over happily to greet Kirby with the usual lick-to-the-face, but was prevented by Edgeworth inadvertently snapping at her with a harsh, "Leave him alone."]

[ Kirby, at least, still enjoyed the attention, even if he wasn't exactly seeking it compared to a reassurance that his friend was okay. He shot an apologetic look at Veritas, hoping the dog wouldn't mind Edgeworth's snap too much... Kirby would eventually pipe up again though, stubborn and needing to know. ]
