[ If your character is out and about the castle this afternoon or evening (we can always pretend it's not already 10 PM) they might find some blue jello in some unusual places.

Like replacing all the water in the indoor swimming pool, or onsen. Or filling up all but one of the washing machines in the laundry. Perhaps they noticed the goopy mess just sitting in the kitchen sink? The oddest of all is the pile of jello someone (or someones) managed to pack into the elevator.

If they're lucky they might catch a flash of blue or orange zipping around the corner trying to escape the scene of the crime (and they probably will be, because Vriska and John are about as sneaky as a linebacker wearing pots, pants and car alarms for padding.) ]

[Oh, who is she kidding. She is still about to explode with laughter!]

OH. OH WOW! John, I-- [Pfffffffft!] Oh my god!

[IT'S ALL SO CLEAR NOW. Clear and blue and goopy.

When Nepeta finally scrambles her way toward the edge of the pool, she pulls herself out of the jello and whirls around. She expected this from Vriska, but not John!]

That wasn't funny!

Well, you're the dumbass who fucking ate from a pool! Didn't you think about all the stupid chemicals and everything? You're probably going to get sick and die now.

[ Floating out of the pool now, dripping blue goop everywhere, and looking a little grossed out, but mostly amused. ]

It was pretty funny. Also I'm pretty sure you're not actually going to die. I used to swallow pool water a lot as a kid on accident, and I'm still alive.

[That doesn't stop Nepeta from trying to wipe her tongue and spit out any remnants of jello. It was a pretty dumb thing to do, but it looked so good!]

You still didn't have to push me in!

[ John will make it up to her later by getting her some jello that doesn't have pool chemicals in it sometime.

He lands on the edge of the pool, trying to brush jello chunks out of his hair now. ]

Probably not... but it was pretty funny! Come on, haven't you ever pushed someone into a pool before?

[That would be a great idea, John. And also she's reaching into her hair now to make sure there isn't any jello left.]

Well... I suppose when I pounce people that is kind of the same. They aren't expecting it.

[ He thought so, also probably cleaner and safer than the stuff she was eating anyways.

He's going to give up on his mission to rid himself of the jello- and oh man.... they put this stuff in all the washing machines so he can't even go and wash his clothing right now. That was not good foresight on his part. He looks down at his shirt, brushing it off a few times before giving up on that too. ]

Exactly! It's not funny if they know you're going to do it. It is the surprise that's funny.

[ A pause, he should clarify this for BOTH girls. ]

As long as no one gets really badly hurt.

And I didn't really get hurt. [Just her feelings maybe, and she's already over that]

Well, okay. You got me! But don't expect me just furget about this. This means war, you know!

[ Now that is more along the lines of what John wants to hear! A prank war actually sounds pretty darned fun. ]

I will be ready!
