Alright! It only took a month but I've finally got my room set up again, just the way I like it. The walls have a fresh coat of pink, I have tested out my bed for maximum comfiness, and every single surface including the floor has the appropriate amount of clutter and clothing. Almost a decade later and my room still looks like it did when I was a kid, sans dolls and embarrassing boy band posters.

I'm not sure whether Diana would be proud or exasperated –– I know Mom would be the latter. Forever young, I guess. Cassie Sandsmark, we are back in business.

So, people of Paradisa: how are we doing? All in one piece and with the appropriate body parts? That thing a few days ago was a real ride.

Uh... Water Tribe. Southern. Why?

Ah, different universe. I was just wondering; "Kora" is a Greek name where I'm from.

I'm from the United States!

I'm guessing Greek is a country or something, right? Same with the United States?

[triumph]

Right on both counts. "Greece", to be specific, the people from Greece are "Greek."

[polar]

So what does that make people from the United States?

[triumph]

"United States" is short for "United States of America", because we're part of the North American continent, which also includes Canada and Mexico... though technically we should be "USians" or something, we're just called "Americans."

I won't pretend it makes sense, really.

Yeah, I won't pretend, either. That's just weird. My world's a lot simpler in terms of that stuff.

Sounds like it. Water Tribe... I'm guessing you have other tribes based off nature, too?

[polar]

Water Tribe, Northern and Southern on the poles. Fire Nation and Earth Kingdom. There were the Air Nomads, but it's just one family now.

Anyway, there's Republic City, which is a huge mix of cultures and people, kind of a land in its own right.

Gotta hand it to you, that's pretty straightforward.

How does one family constitute an entire nation, though?

[Well, this conversation's taking a complete one-eighty now.]

They're all that's left of the Air Nomads. It's a long story, really, and not a happy one.

[triumph]

I'm sorry to hear that.

[polar]

The good part is that there is a family instead of just one or two.

Anyway, Republic City's pretty amazing. It's so busy, there's nothing really like it in the Southern Water Tribe.

No kidding, though I can see how that might get weird on a "repopulating the world" level...

How Southern are you?

[polar]

Nah, they just marry people from other nations or something. I mean, their mother was my waterbending teacher, so it's workable.

[Pause.] South Pole?

[triumph]

Ah, neato.

And wow, that's pretty far South. I've been to the North Pole, but I've never gone too far below the Equator... heck, I don't think there are even people at either Pole on my world.

Before? Oh, the castle was going a bit haywire. Some sort of karma for wishing thing, I guess.

Yeah, I'm working on that, too. Luckily my room already had most of my stuff when I got here, it was just a matter of putting it all in the proper order again... but it's different, trekking down to the kitchen or to the city for a bite to eat instead of just "ordering in."

I think so, too. What kind of movie are you in the mood for?

Nooo kidding, I totally agree. Movie theater in a few hours, then? It should be open tonight, and you, me and Kon can pick specifics when we get there.

The walls are lined with what looks like infinite DVDs, so we get to pick.
