meanwhile in cabin stark(-snow)…

[ When Arya thinks everyone is asleep, she slips out of her bed. She shivers when her bare feet touch the cold floor, but she's happy for it. Between heat and cold, Arya is better accustomed to the cold.

Sensing her, Nymeria raises her head. Arya shushes her quietly. Barefoot and silent, she steals to where her little half-brother is. ]

Spike. Are you asleep?

[ Without really waiting for an answer, she slips in beside Spike, pushing him aside enough so she can fit. ]


(( anyone else in the cabin is welcome to tell them to please go the fuck to sleep—or try to sneak in and be foiled by the little ones :3 ))

[Spike makes a snorting noise because he was, in fact, asleep. He grumbles a little about being shoved aside, but turns so he can watch her, rubbing an eye sleepily]

Arya? Everything okay?

[persequor]

Can't sleep. I'm not tired.

[huffythedragon]

Oh...okay. [He'd say 'me either' but that would be a horrendous lie]

Not even a little bit? After all the crazy...family gathering stuff we're all forced to do?

[persequor]

No. [ She shakes her head. ]

[huffythedragon]

Oh. Well...okay, I guess we can talk if you like?

[persequor]

Where were you today?

[huffythedragon]

Oh. [His voice sounds a little flat, he'd tried to blank the memory because he's sure he'll sound crazy]

I went to the ice cream store and a couple of the ponies from the stables were there.

...One of them actually hugged me.

[persequor]

A pony hugged you.

[huffythedragon]

And then when I looked for bridles to take them back to the stables, one of them wrote 'no' on a piece of paper.

[persequor]

[ She might be concerned now. Is Spike sick...? ]

Ponies don't write.

[huffythedragon]

I know! But this one did, it had the pen in its mouth.

It was the most disturbing thing I've ever seen.

[persequor]

[ She lifts her head from the pillow. ] Where did you see them?

[huffythedragon]

They were in the ice cream shop. I don't even know how they go there or what they were trying to do. There was ice cream everywhere.

[persequor]

We should try to find them tomorrow.

[huffythedragon]

[Uh oh he knows that tone]

I'm sure they're harmless, Arya. Just...weird.

[persequor]

I still want to see them. Maybe they've just been trained.

[huffythedragon]

You promise not to be violent with them?

[persequor]

[ She rolls her eyes. ] Yes. I promise.

[ Nymeria, though, is something else. ]

[huffythedragon]

[He knows what you're thinking, Sis B|]

You can't bring the dog, either.

[persequor]

I'm not leaving her here.

[huffythedragon]

But she might maul the ponies.

[persequor]

I'll keep her on a leash. [ Because it's not like Nymeria is big enough anf strong enough to break free. ]

[huffythedragon]

...I don't know. I kinda like the ponies, even if they probably are rabid.

[persequor]

Nothing's going to happen to them. I just want to see them.

[huffythedragon]

Okay. Then I guess we can go in the morning.
