[The prominent feature of this small resort town is the fact that nature is everywhere. With the lake and surrounding forestry you can't avoid feeling like the whole place has just leaked outdoorsy everywhere.

Today, Faith is at her job. The entire town has been flooded with this family reunion and she's been called in for a late night lake tour. She's spent the last four hours setting up the lanterns, so she's pretty sure that she's ready to take this group out and get them set for the walk.

It's one of the highlights of the lake and Faith is just glad for the extra hours.]

I just need everyone to be single file.... well, as close to single file as possible. We've all got our glowsticks and lucky for us, we are insect light tonight. When everyone's ready, we'll head out!

[Steve's thinking the same thing... only not for pasta.] Where's the best place to grab a burger?

[Faith turns around, bright smile on her features.]

There's an amazing place in town. Little hole in the wall, you'd miss it if you weren't looking for it. It's called Marvin's and it's my absolute favorite place to go to.

It is? [Steve pauses a moment before trying to transition into his next question smoothly.]

Do you want to try it with me before the reunion is over?

[She smiles, no smirk in sight, and nods.]

Sure! I'm sure you'd walk right by it if you didn't have someone to show you. [Totally thinks this is slightly innocent!]

[valuedstrength]

Yeah... probably. [He's still too shy to try correcting her on it right away. There's another definite pause before he launches into it.]

I was thinking while I was there I could treat you to one to show my appreciation. It's nice of you to walk us around and answer our questions.

[.... He tried.]

[More bright smiles from her.]

Oh, it's really no trouble. I mean, I'm supposed to be here to help you guys find your way around the town. We can't just have you wandering around looking for food, now can we?

[She'll pause though, still walking for the tour of course.] If you wanted, I guess we could go when I'm not actually working.

[She has a nice smile. Let Steve admire that for a second before he reminds himself to focus.]

I was hoping that's when we could go actually.

Oh! [She'll just keep smiling and now it's even making her eyes light up a bit.]

Okay, then. I mean, if you want to, sure.

[He's admiring again. Why does he have such a weakness for ladies smiling? The world may never know. He'll snap out of it long enough to nod.]

I do want to. It'd be my pleasure.

[Faith will lead you through the woods toward the other side of the lake. Small lanterns will light the way and then the view from the other side of the lake is extremely picturesque.]

I'd really like to learn about the wildlife around here.

There's lots of it from the small ground squirrels to large buck in the fall. We even have wild turkeys.

Any particular animal you'd like to see on the tour? I can try to lead us around where they usually are.

Are there any owls? I really like owls!

[msattentionspan]

There are owls, in fact we have the largest population of Great Horned Owls here. I'm sure you'll be able to hear them once we get deeper into the woods.

Awesome! I never thought there would be this much nature.

...Uh I mean, give the helicopters and the rock music and the fireworks and everything.

Oh, that's just a bit of local fanfare. Most of the wildlife is used to the noises that come with people visiting the town.

Really? So dad didn't scare them all away?

[msattentionspan]

Nope. I don't think so. Who's your dad?

[huffythedragon]

Tony Stark. He was the one who came in on the helicopter.

[msattentionspan]

I saw him! He seems like a cool dad. Is he a cool dad?

[huffythedragon]

He's the coolest dad on the planet.

[msattentionspan]

Sounds like you lucked out, then.

[huffythedragon]

I sure did, but I love all the family here. It's big, sure, but it's all great.

It really seems like it. You guys all close?

Well, dad doesn't like everybody, but I try to keep everyone playing nice, you know? It's what family is supposed to be about.

Yeah, I kinda noticed that. It's really cool to see how everyone interacts.

I bet it's like watching a soap opera.

It kinda is! I mean, not a bad one, but one where the story keeps having another twist.
