Case 2: Short Stuff
[The voice coming over the journal today is sounding rather young. He thinks he's figured out the journal, but isn't sure yet so he's sounding a little unsure here.]
So, this place, it's, [rather big] not home, and while I'd like to go home it's all fine if I can't. Not sure, though what's up with it, just, saying. And no idea how I got here. [Because he can do what he wants now without his parents. Yes that's important. And he may or may not be trying to sound brave.]
I would like to know though where someone can get food, because I'm, hungry and well, this room I'm in? I, don't know where the food is. And I can't make it myself.
[Priorities, he has them.]
And well thank you for the help. And well I hope this works.
[And so saying that, after a little while, he's heading out of the room to explore the castle. Hiding behind corners and plants as he sees or hears people come by.]
((OOC: Loss start and open over the journal or action.))

Yeah? How big?
no subject
You tell me.
no subject
Woah.

no subject
I don't care, and what's that?
no subject
no subject
How's it do that?
no subject
No idea. Something to do with electricity. I just know it works. [Good enough for him.]

Not sure. Seen it before, but never tried it.
[He takes the can and tilts it upside down before noticing the soda can tab. He hooks a fingernail under it and lifts it sharply.]
Whoa!
[He holds it away from him when the soda begins fizzing and pouring out.]
no subject
And he watches him take the can, and when the soda fizzes and pours out he jumps back, staring in something like shock and awe at it. Wow okay what was that?]
Woah, that's, was that, in that, but why'd it do that?
no subject
[Oh, it's not pouring out anymore. He raises it to his mouth to taste it. After a moment's consideration, he nods.]
Sweet. Not bad.
no subject
Can I try?
no subject
[Yes, Gwaine, giving the child a caffeinated, sugary drink that turns sticky when spilled and not cleaned off skin is a great idea.]
no subject
[Yes Gwaine it is. But at least Jimmy has pretty steady hands even as he nods his head a lot. He's ignoring the sticky mess for the moment to take a sip.]
Not bad, it really isn't.
no subject
[He starts rifling through the fridge.]
no subject
[And with that grin he starts digging through the fridge too, just sort of surprised at the food in there.]
no subject
[ It's not like most of these things have names on the am anyway. And even if they were, finders keepers. All that jazz. ]
no subject
You rock dude.]
Thank you!
