Well since this thing's already decided to announce that I'm here it seems pointless to stay silent on it, although I still don't really know how I feel about the whole thing.

[ If you can hear the sound of chopping in the background? That's because she is. She's making a sandwich ]

I find it hard to believe that I'd be the only one to say this but it's crazy. Magic and castle's that can bring you here? It's not right, although neither is a lot that I've known about but that's slightly different still.

And an even better part than that? I've heard that even worse things can happen, although to whoever told me that's not exactly the kind of thing that you want to hear when you've just been whisked off to some strange place. It's not exactly comforting when you know absolutely nothing about any of this stuff.

And for everyone else here? I don't know how you can handle it. Kids running around and things just happening? It's madder by the minute.

[ There's a pause as Christina thinks, and stops chopping ]

I guess what I want to know is how do you handle it? Especially when this kind of thing just doesn't exist? Because I'm already starting to wonder if I've gone crazy, although I certainly couldn't have come up with anything like this. I hope, anyway.

[ And anyone around? Come find her in the kitchen ]

Well, it brought you here. It took something important from you - so it sort of knows you? It's creepy, but it's not that bad. Because it's just a sentient castle.

Either way, it'll just change things. The color of a wall, the layout of a room - it's all completely changeable.

Whatever it took can't have been that important, I've still got everything.

Somehow a sentient building that does this isn't something I'd have said wasn't that bad.

Maybe I'm explaining it wrong. Some people like it here and others don't, I'm in the middle I guess because there are people here that I don't get to see anymore back home. So I like it, but then it does weird things and so then I don't like it.

Because they were dead? [ She's slowly been having that explained to her ] I guess that could be nice.

Yeah, but also because they left or just weren't close with me anymore. Plus, there are people I never would've met otherwise.

Like I'd probably not meet you if we weren't here. [ She's wrapping her head around it. Slowly ] Still aren't too sure on the 'being whisked away' part. Some warning could have been nice.

Which is very true! It does take some getting used to and there isn't really a set way of getting used to it either. I used to be able to suggest people talk to Dr. Sweets, but he's not here anymore.

I think being here more than a day can help too.

Well, that's true. For a first day, though, you seem to be doing pretty well.

I'm trying to ignore it. This isn't doing well, this is knowing more than I should.

What do you know that you shouldn't?

Everything that's not normal about this place. It doesn't exist, not where I'm from.

That might be true, but you still aren't calling everyone a figment of your imagination or running around thinking it's all a dream either.

I think that's doing pretty well.

I did yesterday. [ But then she was shown that it wasn't a figment of her imagination ] I'm still skeptical.
