[ There's the plinking of piano keys, a carefully practiced melody. It's still simplistic, but she's getting better. ]
I can take being turned into a little kid, and I can take having my waterbending swapped out for firebending-- but I hate when the castle messes with my mind.
[ It's idle grumping that you've heard a million times before, but welcome to it, Paradisa: she has no one else to grump to directly. ]
Would you guys rather drag your friends from home here or go home? 'Cause there's a lot about Paradisa that I like sometimes-- mostly the people-- but I'm less and less sure that the losses are worth it.

[ Oh, wow, Katara. Phrase it a little more offensively, why don't you. ]
And just a little bit. I'm not very good.

[You are the most delicate of butterflies, Katara]

... I'd rather go home. A place like this... [ ...makes things more complicated than they need to be. ]

[ She's so homesick sometimes that she can barely stand it. ]
-- but there are parts of it I'd miss, if I remembered enough to miss it.

[ It's... probably the sole fact that her best friend was with her here that she wasn't that homesick herself. But then, things were kind of awkward between them at the moment. She didn't want to think about Natsu right now. ]
