[It takes her a moment to realize she's being watched. She doesn't even know who it is, just that someone's behind her. She finishes the set and turns, wiping some of the sweat from her forehead.

When her eyes meet Mark's she grins]

Holy shit. Remind me not to ever piss you off, seriously. ... Where did you learn how to do that?

[She laughs, crossing the room towards him]

I started learning martial arts years ago. I've been training ever since. It comes in handy when you fight demons on a daily basis.

You bet. I don't have active powers and most bad guys don't sit and wait for you to think of a spell. [She chuckles] Judo, huh? That's not a bad place to start. You said "was." What happened?

Honestly, I don't even really know. [he shrugs] I haven't heard from him since he got married and I DJ'ed the reception.

Well marriage changes a lot of things. It's easy to forget about other commitments you may have had before. [Her smile turns a little sad as she thinks about her own experience with it.]

I suggest talking to him, seeing if he'd still be willing to teach you. Maybe a reminder is all he needs.
